The palace is located in a park full of trees ,only 3km away from tallin's old town.Perfect place for a relaxing walk through greenery.Everything is super clean and nice. Don't miss this when in town.

I would recommend to enjoy walking in this park during all seasons, So you may found here a lots of interesting things to do for all family; great place for relax and enjoy nature, few historical and art museums, some coffee shops, play ground for kids and etc., etc.

The park was visited in the fall, its a bit like New England with clapperboard buildings and trees with vivid autumnal colours. The Government buildings are also here.

If you need a comfort break /refreshment there is an art gallery just up the hill where one can go into the cafe without paying an entrance fee

A baroque palace built for Peter the Great in 1718 (but he never got to visit this summer residence - he died before it,was finished). Situated in a tranquil park, not far from the old city centre.

Definitely visit this park during summer! Great for picnic or just laze on the grass reading a book.

This is another of the Russian royal palace, not as grand as many but definitely worth a visit. We were told this place was where Peter the Great came when he wanted somewhere quiet to relax. It is very lavish set in beautiful grounds.

We jumped on a number 1 tram from the stop a few minutes away from our hotel (3 Sisters) which took us to right outside the park.
It’s a lovely place to visit. Unfortunately the exhibition was closed as a new one was being set up. It didn’t matter as we wondered around the Japanese garden and went into the Kumu art museum which is a beautifully designed building which we loved.

Spent a day exploring the park and its attractions - the number of tour groups in the Old Town was a bit off putting. Here it was peaceful. Especially loved Peter the Great's place and the Art Gallery. The tram from the Old Town was easy to find and cheap

Tzar Peter I loved his wife so much that he built a palace close to the sea. One of the best examples of Baroque in the Northern part of the world. Today you can come and enjoy the collection of art and stroll in the park. The Kadrtiorg (Cathrine Valley) park and palace celebrated its 300 anniversary

The park around the Kadriorg Palace is large, with immaculate gardens and wonderful walking paths. All in all a great place to relax and enjoy nature and of course the beautiful architecture of the Kadriorg Palace.
