We are just home from a weekend in Tallinn. I found St,Petersbourg Hotel by chance while searching the net, wrote an email to the hotel and got a very friendly reply. Already then I knew we were in for a great stay, and we were not disappointed. Very charming rooms (we were upgraded from superior to junior suite) a friendly, smiling staff who did the best to make our stay a good one, all of them speaking fluent English.
The hotel is situated right in the middle of Old Town, and has two very good restaurants.

Perfect location for enjoying a weekend in the Old City of Tallinn. The staff at this hotel were really fantastic, constantly helping us with various things--carrying our luggage, arranging concert tix, offering recommendations. Very good breakfast-- with nice hot and cold selections. Had a very spacious upgraded room (small suite) that looked down on the street above the Beer House. Really encountered no noise. Recommend the Estonian restaurant-- Kuldne Notsu, some wonderful pork dishes and a good array of that very fine Estonian beer.

Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Old Tallinn. Stayed in the hotel in the middle of March. Booked a standard room. The hotel did upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was large with high ceilings. Nice wooden furniture. The room had a king size bed and a sitting area with a double sofa bed, two chairs, coffee table. Large desk to work. Wireless internet in the room was free. Take the code at the reception. In the bathroom, a good selection of expensive cosmetics (body lotion, shower gel, conditioner, shampoo). The room was cleaned twice a day. In the evening, next to the bed put mineral water and Estonian chocolate. Here is an evening shoe shine, just put your shoes on a special tray for cleaning. The room is only one drawback - no air conditioning, which is very unusual for a hotel of four stars. Breakfast was very good, with lots of local delicacies. Delicious cheeses and fish. To order you to cook pancakes, fried eggs, omelet, poridzh. The staff at the reception are very polite and helpful. At our request, we have made a free late check out. The hotel has a restaurant serving Russian cuisine and restaurant Estonian cuisine. But we had dinner at another restaurant in the old town.

Room Tip: Junior suite is very nice

Dear Guest,

We couldn’t have asked for better tips for our future guests. Thank you very much for leaving such great comments. Unfortunately we do lack individual air conditioning units in rooms, however central air conditioning systems has been very sufficient in hot summer days. In name of entire staff I would like to thank you for staying with us and we are more then glad to hear you enjoyed your stay to the fullest. We are looking forward to your return visit! Have a great day!

Staying right in the Old Town of Tallinn is very convenient for families. Although you should note that even for a family of four, you will likely need two rooms. The rooms are spacious, but there might not be enough beds. Also, there is no elevator. Our kids liked the grand old staircase, but some families may find this troubling.

The staff were excellent. They almost seemed disappointed that there wasn't something extra that they could do to make our experience nicer, but everything was very nice.

Dear Guest,

What a great comment. Thank you for taking your time to tell us about your recent stay In Hotel St.Petersbourg. Indeed hotels staircase is something we are very proud to have as it is so original and unique, however thank you for noticing that families that wouldn’t enjoy as much walking up the stairs should pre book rooms on first floor to make their stay even more enjoyable. Many greetings to you from our staff! They were truly happy to hear how much their service has been appreciated. Have a wonderful day and we hope to welcome you back soon!

This was our last stop on a 3 week tour of the baltics, and I think we saved the best till last. Situated right in the centre of the old town, we were able to explore the entire city easily.

The hotel is very comfortable and plush, with a real luxury feel to it. The lack of a lift somehow added to its old-world charm, but is something to be noted by people who have a problem with stairs.

The room was large, airy, clean and beautifully cared for. The only thing lacking was a kettle!

The staff were friendly and very helpful.

We took a taxi to the airport, it was only E.10. Buses and trains and trams are all a little walk away as there is no public transport in town.

Having read the Trip Advisor reports we planned to eat in their Estonian restaurant, which did seem very popular and doing a good trade, but we opted instead for their Russian one. The food and service were good, but it was a little pricey.

If I return to Tallinn I would definitely stay there again, and would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: If stairs are a problem, ask for ground floor.

Dear Guest,

What a great way to end your trip through Baltic’s. We couldn’t be more please to hear you saved the best for the last. There is indeed something very charming about this beautiful city in north Baltic’s. Although I am saddened to hear lack of kettle in the room comes up just now. I wish you would have informed front desk right away, as we do have such facilities available and ready for guests to use, however it is only and upon request. We will make sure to place it in your room upon your upcoming visit if you may visit Tallinn again.
Thank you once again for your kind words and we are looking forward to welcome you back any time. Have a great day!
