Got very late to the hotel at 1.00 a.m. in the night. Booked at corporate rate with late arrival guarantee. Have meeting tomorrow morning at 7.00. Got greeted by message: we are fully booked and we have full house. You have to go to another hotel. In the same they kept checking other people in even those that came after me. After asking for manager, finally got the room. Just to find out it was for smokers. Absolute disaster. Stay away from there if you have a business trip with tight schedule.

Dear ikondrat.
We are very sorry for your experience at arrival at our hotel.
We have chosen to have a small amount of smoker rooms, and unfortunately
at your arrival this roomtype was the only one left.
We normally only allocate a smoker room to guests who prefer this, but in this case we failed to do so.
Please accept our aplogies for this unfortunate situation.
Hope to see you back in Tallinn another time.
Best regards
Flemming Poulsen

Very busy hotel and breakfast is a bit manic but a great selection of food. Room comfortable and a good size, I was lucky being on a corner so only had one neighbour. Ideally located near the city centre and easily walkable.

Room Tip: Try and get a room on one of the upper floors, not much to see from the lower floor.

This hotel is as far as i have heard built especially for the Radisson chain, which should cater for something. But it ends there. My most important factor when travelling for business is a good nights sleep, and you get this only if you are lucky at this hotel. Lucky meaning not having anyone in the next room. Two interesting features makes sleeping a problem; sound proofing between the rooms hardly exist enabling you to keep a close track on your neighbours phone calls, shower routines etc. And then; a automatic door locking system which slams the door shut with an incredible; BANG!! In one of the rooms i tried it actually made the whole room shake. So during the night, instead of counting sheep, you can count how many others in the hallway that are coming back from a nice time out, or leaving for the same. In 2013 there must be a better system, truly. I have tried several rooms in this hotel, and the same was the case with all of them.

The best thing with this Blue, is the roof top terrace portraying the whole of Tallinn. Nice for summer. The breakfast is also very good. Room service also, with friendly and service minded staff.

The gym is unfortunately hardly worth the time.

Check-in and out is to my experience swift.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the end of the corridor, to avoid as many neighbours as possible.

Dear ANicolai,

Thank you for taking time to write your feedback. Every guest comment is important for us in order to find out shortages and areas for improvement.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience with noise from other rooms. We do not often hear this, but we have recently experienced the need for adjustments of some of the automatic door locks, to avoid noise when closing it. This is being taken care of.
We have gone through total renovation recently. What we still have not done but have in mind to renovate is our fitness centre. Hopefully next time upon your arrival it will be totally different and very much improved.

Thank you, ANicolai, once more for sharing your observations. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.

With kind regards,
Kristel

We got to stay on the 17th floor in a really nice modern room with a great view. The hotel has a really nice location, only a 10 minute walk to Old Town.
The service at the hotel could be improved. We asked for directions to a certain restaurant and the girl at the reception only said "too long to walk there take a cab". In the end we navigated there ourselves within 10 minutes by foot.
Breakfast is one of the main highlights for me during a hotel stay, but not this time. Food was cold, it took ages for the staff to bring out more food and tables were dirty from previous customers.
I have stayed in nicer hotels in Tallinn.

Stayed in Radisson Blu Tallinn for 3 nights on a weekend break with family. Hotel is in a nice location just on edge of shopping area and roughly 10 minute walk to Old Town. Hotel itself was nice rooms were a good size and comfortable but there were a few areas that let down the whole experience.
- On arrival in the room there were only 2 small hand towels (no large bath/shower towels) not a big deal and easily resolved with a phone call but surely a basic thing to get right.
- Cleaning of the room was not great, the beds were made daily but room never seemed to be vacuumed. On the first night a lamp fell to the floor and shattered leaving a few small bits of glass on the floor, there was still a bits on the floor when we left.
- The bathroom was never fully cleaned during our stay, the shower gel bottles we left on bath side were not cleaned away. We are not dirty and not a big issue but did give the feeling of lack of general cleaning. This may be new standard of cleaning but not what we expected from a 4 star hotel.
- The breakfast selection was good although it did not seemed to be very crowded, the tables used by previous customers seemed to take an age to clear and twice we sat at tables with dirty plates/coffee pots.
All in all with a little bit of effort this would be a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it but it falls short.

Great modern hotel. Very well located. Easy access to both the new and old town. Rooms are spatious (for European standards) and beds comfortable. Very nice hot and cold breakfast selection in the lower level restaurant. The upper level lounge is a must try: good food and breath taking views of the old town and of the sea. The staff is efficient, polite and very helpful.

a very modern and stylish hotel, superbly placed to visit the old town of Tallinn, everything within walking distance. Reception was welcoming and all public areas clean. Hardly had to wait for the lift at any time of day. Our room was situated on the 12th floor overlooking the old town, slept with the curtains open so could awake to the views of the spires and beautiful town. We stayed as part of a tour group and so didn't expect the room we were allocated, I wish I could put photos on here but I'm no David Bailey, it had well designed lighting, and although I have used the word before but the room was stylish, a glass map of Tallinn on the wall, a well equipped bathroom, tea and coffee facilities, and extremely clean. Breakfast was busy, with extra tables laid in the bar area, but it was continually being restocked and so wasn't a problem. The staff were efficient and friendly and smiled and a credit to the hotel. We did visit the roof top bar on the 24th floor as it was a glorious sunny day, could have stayed there all day, but so much to do in Tallinn we couldn't.

Room Tip: try and stay in a room overlooking the old town

Dear bazjs,

Thank you for taking time to write your feedback. We are really delighted that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel.

Clean is a word often used when spoke about our hotel. Tallinn is under protection of UNESCO and from upper floor view is marvellous. We have been recently renovated and lots of lamps and lights are added and we also find our hotel stylish. Friendly service is one of our priorities. Roof top bar on 24th floor is one of our pearls with a great food, drink and a view.

Thank you, bazjs, once more for your positive feedback and support. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back.

With kind regards,
Kristel
