The staff in this hotel were excellent! They couldn't do enough for us. We were there for 4 nights and went over to Helsinki for 4 nights. When we came back they upgraded us to a junior suite without even being asked.

The hotel includes dinner and afternoon tea/coffee in the price so this is excellent value. Dinner is good quality but limited in choice.

The location in the old town couldn't be better. Although there is noise from the bar opposite this only really effects one side of the hotel and we were lucky.

We would definitely stay here again.

The staff is amazingly helpful. I had made reservations directly with the hotel. I then found the same dates and rooms for alot less on otel.com. I emailed the hotel and they said no problem just book through otel.com and we'll still give you the same rooms. Great location in Old Town.

The transport from the airport provided by the hotel was reliable and very reasonably priced.

Because I liked the staff so much it is difficult to find fault with anything but to be honest the beds were old and soft, the breakfast was only ok, and due to the location it was very noisey at night..but they do provide earplugs in every room.

Nice hotel but they should get rid of the bar next door. There were people screaming there until 6AM and it sounded like they vere inside the hotel room. I now understand why there were complimentary ear protection in the room.

Also one weird thing was that it was complimentary dinner, but water bottles cost 3,5 EUR.
The dinner was not worth much so we went out for dinner instead.

It's a pitty because this is a nice looking hotel with quite decent prices for accomodation.

The Baron's Hotel has a great location in Tallinn's old town. It's a minute walk to most restaurants, and a couple of more minutes to get to some great shopping.

The service at the hotel is really good, and the staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are not that big, and the beds are a bit worn. But they suite their purpose very well.

The negative side of the stay is that it is a bit noisy outside the hotel at night. Some bars and nightclubs are located just outside. I didn't find that to be a problem. And if you do, there are complementary ear plugs in the room... ;)

Given the abundance of attributes on offer at Baron's Hotel, located in the heart of medieval Tallinn, it's no wonder one has trouble knowing where to start.  Just let it be known Baron's is a distinctive, quietly stylish, and thoroughly appealing hotel that is perfectly situated for an exploration of Tallinn's enchanting medieval community.

Perhaps the best place to start when speaking of Baron's Hotel is the service.  On this
traveler's early August visit, the entire staff could not have been more helpful and professional.  All staff members were sharply dressed, spoke English effortlessly, and appeared to approach their jobs with a sincerity that is not always found in an accommodation at this price range (125 euros per night).  Whether helping with the carrying of bags one block to meet a taxi, or providing a prompt and trouble free check in, or making a quick refill of heated milk at breakfast, the entire staff at Baron's provided A plus service all around.

This traveler was favorably impressed by the double room on offer at Baron's.  The room was quite spacious, including a striking view of the medieval town hall tower.  The room came with numerous amenities; a couple of which were familiar, such as mini bar and cable TV (nice touch with BBC World News); and some not nearly so familiar yet most welcome, such as a complimentary small bottle of red wine and water, twin bathrobes, and sewing kit.  Another freebie was a pair of earplugs which, while at first seemed a needless donation, would later be regarded as most practical, as an establishment adjacent to Baron's played host to an all-night shindig that made the invention of earplugs seem on par with the creation of penicillin.  The bathroom at the Baron's was another plus, as it featured a tub and shower, good quality soap and shampoo, even lighting, and plenty of thick and thirsty towels.

A noteworthy surprise offered by Baron's concerns dinner.  At no extra charge to the traveler is a buffet dinner that features meatloaf, fish, pasta, and plenty of fixings to organize a salad.  There was also a nice dessert table as well as coffee.  While the meal is no more than satisfactory, it does make for a welcome, money-saving option.

Public areas at Baron's Hotel are most appealing, and these include a small bar and outdoor cafe, as well as a terrific circa 1900 elevator.

While traveling to Tallinn, Estonia one would be wise to give Baron's a try.  Beyond the many comforts it provides, the hotel represents excellent value.
