The central location in the Old Town makes this hotel a good choice for a stay in Tallinn. The Hotel itself is an historic gem and the staff helpful in every way.
The (inexpensive) airport transfer that I had arranged with the Hotel several weeks earlier went smoothly and the staff arranged a taxi to takes us to the bus station on our departure.
The complimentary afternoon tea is a nice touch, in our case coffee and muffins, as is the complimentary dinner buffet. Be warned, though, that the dinner choices are limited and that better is available outside the Hotel. We had the dinner on our arrival day only. On the other hand the breakfast buffet is excellent, with sufficient choice to suit all tastes.
I had concerns about noise, given the comments of other reviewers. And yes, noise from nearby bars and early morning street cleaning was a problem, but not to the extent that we couldn't sleep or had to use the ear plugs provided. However our stay was outside peak season (late Sep) and did not include a weekend. It might be a different story at these peak times. Specify an inside room if this is a major concern.More
