At 29 euros a night for the 2 of us with breakfast, this was great value.
It is situated only 5 mins walk from the old town which is very convenient.
Our room was simple, clean, spacious and warm considering it was -15 outside. No noisey nightclubs or roads outside, only noise is other guests coming back at whatever hours.
Buffet breakfast has a great selection for the price. Coffee from the machine was the worst we have tasted though, so stuck to tea. A bizarre observation was the obsession of Russian speaking guests to horde as much fruit as they could at breakfast!
We found the reception staff friendly and helpful. There is free internet in the lobby and wifi practically everywhere in Tallinn, even in the middle of the park!

Basic room but good enough for price. Free wifi was useful.
Tram to international bus station stops just outside hotel.

The price was so cheap, I decided to upgrade us to an Executive room. We had a balcony, free pay per view tv, robs, slippers, heated bathroom floor. All in all a VERY comfortable room. I was also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast -- a lot of choice and very good quality. We needed to print bus tickets and the front desk was able to print them for us with no hassle. Short walk from old town, away from the touristy bustle, nice little cafe across the street. Would definitely return.

Not so far from the Old Town, we felt at home there. It's very quiet and comfortable, and quite modern. We paid 12.5€/night, so it's really cheap too. The best part was having breakfast: they offer everything you wish (sausages as well as pastry) and it was the first time we ate salmon at 8am!

Having read reviewers comments on this hotel I booked a few nights there. We must have stayed on a bad few days. The location is superb. Actually, the price wasnt that cheap. The reception staff were miserable and unsmiling. The rooms, though basic, were ok. We tried to exchange Euros for local currency and more or less told to go away. Another client pointed us in the direction of a cash machine about 50 yards away, to the right as you leave the hotel. We then settled into the bar area for a few relaxing drinks and work conversation. Lo and behold ... 30 minutes later, at 21.00 the bar closed and the cleaners arrived cleaning around the customers!!! This also happened in the lobby area.
Nothing for it but to find another place to talk... the Hotel Sokos, across the road!!
The next morning the breakfast was adequate but the lady in charge looked so sad and was totally uncommunicative.
Maybe, its the recession but wherever we went to in Tallinn, the people looked so sad and depressed, not like the previous year when we stayed at the TallinLink Hotel.
A final warning.... beware of the parking charges at the car park by this hotel (Not owned by the hotel!!), . When we paid the fee, it was dearer than my room!!!!!
