“Good choice a little out of the city center”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 via mobile

A good choice for a place to stay in Tallinn. All clean and new, rooms are nice and the buffet breakfast is ok.

The hotel is situated little (but just a little) out of city center and you will walk to the old town in about ten minutes.

A tip for those who love partying: we found difficult to find a place to eat something after a late night concert we went. Almost every place in old town and nearby was already closed. But near this hotel there is a little place where you can get some fries and sausage and stuff... Not the best food there is in this planet but helps you survive the night until you drag yourself to the breakfast buffet in the morning ;) Just ask the reseption, they know the place.

Just returned from a long weekend (Friday-Monday) at the hotel and eventhough we had a nice stay at the hotel we will proberly book the sister hotel Radisson Blu Sky instead if we are to return to Tallinn as the bar facilities were much better. The experience at the hotel started with the reception not able to find our booking as it was a pre-booked gift voucher experience which was not on their system eventhough we have received a confimation of the booking before our arrival. After about 45mins waiting in the lobby area they finally managed to find the booking via the head office and we were allocated our hotel room. As we got into the room on the 6th floor we had one look around and returned straight back to reception to explain to them that they must have got the room class wrong as the room given to us was certainally not a superior class room as per our gift voucher booking. After several apologies and with a new room card we took the elevator to the 22nd floor to a perfect room, nice and clean with a fantastic view over Tallinn. The hotel has a nice breakfast buffet with a large selection of cold and hot dishes that should cater to everyone, however the biggest dissapointment to us was the lobby bar which was extremely basic. We like to have a drink at the bar before retiring to our room when returning from a day out and eventhough the bartender was nice and friendly he has absolutely no bar skill knowledge. Whatever we asked for he either did not know what it was or it was not available in the bar but if you like basic beer you should be ok. If I had to give the hotel one advice I would suggest they try and get the same atmosphere as the bars at the sister hotel where we ended up having most of our drinks after a day out before returning to the Olumpia

Room Tip: Ensure you book a superior class room as the standard rooms a really tiny and basic with no views

All things on the hotel side is good, rooms are good and clean, check in and out is fast and painless The restaurant and breakfast service is not meeting expectations. Food standard is average and when asking for spice for pizza we got it after finishing eating

Really good choice for stay - good location, clean rooms, nice view (if you are lucky enought). fast check-in and check-out services. breakfast is ok, an option of glass of fresh juice or smoozzy for extra payment would be nice to have. internet access could be faster for IP TV services, more sport on TV would be a great advantage

Very basic hotel.
Good customer service at the desk.
Places was clean and everything workin. They keep good care about the hotel.
Room was quite small and basic.
Location was little bit far but taxi is cheap way to travel in Tallin.
We only eat breakfast there and that was ok.
Lobby Bar ok but only basic spirits and beers. Nothing special. Olumbic was good place to sleep!

This was a great hotel - we visited for a large conference, with our two young children. As we were travelling as a family we had a large business room, with fantastic views of the city from the 23rd floor. This also gave us daily use of the spa and swimming pool on the top floor, and free in-room movies. The staff were delightful, and helped us to find a babysitter. The children were made welcome. The in-room breakfast (no delivery charge for business rooms) was huge and varied, but grea quality, as was room service. Would definitely stay here again.

Really a great place. All up-to-date and modern. Better than most other Radissons that I have stayed at. I had a business room on one of the higher floors but it was very quiet with a spectacular view of the old town. Overall, a really wonderful stay far exceeding expectations.
