Pirita Spa Hotel

The hotel is old and made of concrete, but it's situated on the beach and some of the rooms have great views. Also there is a spa where you can get all sorts of treatments from getting your hair cut to a manicure or a massage. The pool and sauna's are free to use for hotel guests. The service was good, everyone was very nice. They speak at least good finnish and english there. They had wifi on the lobby only, so you can't use it in your room.

Pirita-area is about 5min taxi ride from the center and it's good if you want to spend your time on the beach and on spa treatments and visit the center now and then. The hotel's restaurant was good, we were surprised how good the food was. So no need to stay hungry there. There is a shop, a doctor and a dentist, pharmacy, optician and all sort of services within the hotel. it's not a luxury resort, but if you don't mind the old hotel and a lot of corridors, you can have a good time here.

Room Tip: Take a room with sea view.

Perfectly situated hotel ,directly on Pirita seashore .All Marine Class rooms are frontal sea view rooms ! Building is outdated ,in fact ,its historical heritage of Moscow Olympic games with endless corridors and just some elevators.Typical 3 star breakfast ,not bad at all.

Room Tip: Top floor Marine Class only !

well we got nice view from room number 210 and also 211 is nice, but balkony and carpets dirty;( The beach near just over the bridge and bus number 1A,8 and 34 and 38 goes for 1 euro to the city. The funny thing was that we had bad picture and no voice on some TVchannels and the reception told its because of the sun??? For short stay and when its sun ok.I also miss the bacon at breakfast.

Room Tip: well 210B and 211 B had nice view;)

I planned to watch and listen to the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in my room, but the neighbours did not allow me to. It was because a normal speaking volume coudl be heard in the next room. Just terrible!. Then I went to a pub in the city center. A taxi takes about 10 minutes and ten Euros. Otherwise I would rate this hotel to average. The breakfast was good and especially the restaurant view is unique to the Gulf of Finland. Also the building itself is an interesting reminder of the past Russian construction style in Estonia. There were lots of various spa treatments at a moderate price. A proper swimming pool (25m) was great and the steam sauna which included to the room price. The staff was hmmm... quite helpful but not smiling.
Somehow I still would not say I never go there again... Let´s see...

Room Tip: At least you must ask if they have better sound proofed rooms... The B-section rooms all have a grea...

I stayed here five days during a music workshop.
There were hundreds of us and the hotel just about managed to keep up. They fed us well and although the service was slow and lacking any warmth, they were professional.

Rooms are very plain, but clean and all have nice balconies.

I ate I the restaurant one night and had a nice meal with a really wonderful sunset view over the sea. Food was fine forthe price of just over thirty euro for four courses and a glass of wine.

The hotel is very far out of town , five km at least, so you need to take a taxi which costs of average ten euro, but can vary wildly from taxi to taxi.

We stayed in Pirita hotel because we needed a place to stay for one night during the song festival and the hotel is relatively close to the song festival grounds.
The best part of the hotel was the view to the sea. But that was it. The ship-like building and the whole interior could nearly be seen as historic, but is really just sad and old. The whole place seemed to be stuck in time.
The staff was not very helpful in their lack of knowledge about the public transport and temporary traffic changes.
Nevertheless we had our bed and we had our breakfast (quite a good breakfast and with a view as well). And everything in our room worked properly.

Booked one night at this hotel, family of four, two children 6 and 9 yrs. Were given family room which was a good size, small showerroom, balcony facing the seafront with beautful view of the sea and Tallinn. The whole hotel is tired looking and in need of renovation. Our balcony floor was almost falling apart, the carpeting in the corridors was dirty. Hotel breakfast was chaotic, with lots of things running out, including hot water for tea & bread. We went for a swim in the large pool which was supposed to be +28C, which was not the case, however, in the basement they had a smaller pool, which held a nice temperature and where we spent an hour with the kids. Only the steam sauna was working. We paid about EUR 75:-- for room with breakfast which seems fair, you get what you pay for!
