“a charming hotel in the old town”
Reviewed 29 August 2011

Built in 1362 and well adapted to the needs of a modern traveller. A unique small luxury hotel well located in the old town. With nice weather a lot of people around and all comfort needed our week end was a success

Room Tip: we booked two months in advance with good result. Our room was designed especially for disabled pers...

A fantastic building in the Old Town of Tallinn. My feeling is that all are unique after a 5-6 visits the last 5 months. It is a little bit of the city pulse so it is very calm and quiet. The rooms are fantastic as such but do avoid rooms with entrance from the backyard. Great service overall. They do have free internet access but you do need to use cable connection due to an instable wlan. The food is excellent and you have one of Estonia's best restaurant in the building.

Room Tip: High floor and avoid the rooms with entrance from the backyard.

We really liked our room here, although the hotel was quite expensive for what we got. I did like the glass of wine at check-in though, that was a nice touch. Big bed, a nice room area as well with a sitting chair and a relaxing/reading chair. I asked to look at their suites and they are much different than the deluxe room we had, of course. Seemed very nice but not worth their cost.

Critiques of the hotel are as follows. The check-in/check-out area was pretty disorganized. Seemed chaotic. Breakfast was terrible, no one cleaned up any of the used tables, even after we asked. Rather than clean one, they tried to get us to sit in an alley-way area with one table where no one was, but we said no. Then it still took about 10 minutes just to clean the table - one person took 2 trips to clear it and then 2 separate trips to bring back the linens and tableware - all just for breakfast. Hugely disappointed in the service here, so much so that we opted not to even deal with breakfast there the 2nd day, plus there wasn't much to offer. We were able to walk everywhere from the hotel, the location was ideal and I would stay here again if I was able to find a great deal online.

Stayed for 3 nights at this charming hotel. The staff could not have
done more to make us comfortable. Were originally upgraded to a suite
on the 3rd floor but the climb up was a killer. We explained the
problem and were ugraded to THE suite of the house - The Piano Suite.
Missed breakfast one morning and requested a Cafe Latte - the Manager
(I think he was the Manager) came out and asked if they could bring
some eggs, juice etc. etc. And they did NOT charge extra for their
effort.

Suberb hotel. Comfortable and roomy. Fantastic staff, nothing is too much bother.
If you want to go somewhere special, this is the place. Great breakfast - with the Angels. You will have to go there to understand that!

Room Tip: All the rooms we were shown seemed great.

Three Sisters is currently the most prestigious hotel in historic Tallinn old town. 3 beautifully restored town houses, with plenty of minimal & modern touches. The hotel staff are all very courteous and friendly (as was everyone in Tallinn!) but the place seemed to lack real soul. Originally put into a standard room by mistake, the upgraded Deluxe wasn't any bigger, with no view and the pokiest hotel bathroom I've been in for a while, complete with brown bath water. Overall a good stay but I do think the hotel slightly overrated.

Staying at The Three Sisters made my short stay in Tallinn wonderful. The entire staff from Manager to bell boy are superb. My room was exquiste and I was shown around the hotel and can guarantee EVERY room is superb. I travel alone and they made me feel so welcome and were so helpful and informative on places to visit, booking restaurants, how to get to places, taxis etc. my visit simply rolled by with ease. A truly wonderful stay, I was spoilt!!!!! The breakfast is cooked individually to needs - how good is that! By the way, I slept like a dream, the hotel is quiet.

Room Tip: Always be pleasant and not demanding.
