We are discerning travelers but fairly easy to please. Three Sisters was a huge disappointment. We booked this place because it advertises free Wifi. In our first room, the Wifi did not work at all (it's an old building and they have routers on the different floors presumedly), the safe did not work, the robes had large holes in them, the fan did not work (no AC) and our room was meant to accommodate disabled travelers so the bathroom was outfitted like a hospital. That was not a big deal but we were on a romantic trip and hoped to at least have a bathtub. When we asked if there was another room available, the hostess wasn't accommodating. She showed us to a room off the restaurant outdoor courtyard (very loud) with one window. We declined moving. The next day we tried again with another host. He showed us to another room after offering to "upgrade" us for more money. We declined the upgrade but moved to the other room that was the same price as ours. The Wifi worked occasionally but the safe was also broken and it was very hot in the room. There is no air conditioning in the hotel which is usually not a problem in Tallinn but with only one window, the old buildings can be very stuffy in the summer. The hotel's manager offers a welcome letter that says they work to make all details perfect. This place is far from perfect. For the price, please find another place. We were very disappointed. Very. Even the coffee for breakfast was burned.

Room Tip: Our hostess told us there is no AC in the building but apparently some rooms have it. You need a roo...

Excellent location - short distance from the centre of old town, yet quiet area, convenient to ferry terminal.

Charming hotel built in a house dating back to the medieval times (actually 3 houses + stables). As typical with this kind of hotels, the rooms vary a lot. For example, our room did not have A/C, which did not bother us as weather was not all that warm. Also the bathroom ceiling was very low, so the shower head was too low for convenient shower. As we stayed only for one night, these negatives did not really bother.

Staff was very nice, helpful, and everybody spoke good English.

Restaurant had a new chef - no more 4 or 5 course set menus. Very good food, but not a candidate for Michelin stars any more (also pricing much lower than before).

Room Tip: Best choise for a weekend hotel unless you want to stay right in the middle of the night life.

We moved from the cramped, bit shabby and non a-c room of the allegedly nr 1 hotel to this relais and chateaux member. We expressly asked for air conditioning (not all rooms have it) and were immediately offered an upgrade because we are members of the association, We got a suite with a loft and a great bathroom with a stand alone shower in the middle of it, as well as two toilets (a secret of a long lasting marriage) we loved the very contemporary decor and all the design touches ( kept beams of old house, wood box for menus and letterhead, little pillows in red and green for do not disturb) Free internet - good wi-fi , free mineral water, quiet. The staff was charming, knowledgeable and accommodating: as we are architecture aficionados, they showed us many other rooms: with poster beds, with more traditional furniture etc These are three medieval houses joined together and re-done with modern accoutrements. A little bit out of the center , ie less than 10 min walk means that you do not have huge crowds.ATS our main host was just super.

My husband and I, who travel frequently throughout the world for business and pleasure from our home in Washington, DC, stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in early July 2013. Our only regret about it and the city in which it is located is that our itinerary made it impossible for us to stay longer. Although we loved our unique 2-story room, we would gladly stay in any room at the Three Sisters Hotel. Everything about it was magical. The location was close enough to attractions and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and private. We have decided that of all the hotels at which we have ever stayed anywhere, it is our favorite.

The hotel was amazing just in inside a stone medieval stone entrance gate along the impressive city walls. We had two story hotel room, how cool is that. The hotel had great amenities to include a great restaurant and vodka bar in the cellar. i have traveled throughout Europe and this hotel is as good or better than 5 Star Hotels throughout Europe. The thing that really set the Three Sister apart for me was the service. Everyone was extremely friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one. The staff gave excellent recommendations on places to shop and best places to visit. The staff spoke perfect English eliminating any communication problems. The hotel far exceeded all expectations but the staff made this the place to stay in Tallinn. TH

Room Tip: Get a street view room, great views of Pikk street and city gate
