“Lovely, cozy hotel in Tallinn”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

We stayed over for one night in May with my husband at this lovely hotel. The Three Sisters is an absolute gem. I recommend it highly! Especially if you are having a romantic mini-break, like we were.

It has a great location on the edge of old town, but still in old town. The reception when we arrived was wonderful - coming into a nice cool lobby on a hot summer day and an offer of refreshments to cool off while checking in. Overall the staff was super helpful during our stay.

We had a lovely room on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Our luggage was carried up and we were shown all the necessary details as how the lights & wifi work. The canopy bed in the room was the icing on the cake! Our request for a room with a bathtub was also fulfilled.

Breakfast was very good. As we were early birds we had the whole breakfast to ourselves first thing in the morning. Coffee and tea were good, freshly prepared for us. There was a good selection of cereal, fruit and bread.

We actually wanted to stay at the Three Sisters already in December 2013, but due to overbooking the hotel had to move us to another hotel in Tallinn. Even though we were not happy about this change, the Three Sisters staff handled it in an excellent way, by going even to further means that we could have expected to compensate to the inconvenience.

The Three Sisters Hotel in Tallinn is something very Special. By combining Three medieval buildings it has been possible to create an unice hotel Where every room is different. In our big and cosy room, there was a big bath tub in our bed room. You could take a bath and look out thru the window on the roofs of Tallinn. There is also an exellent fine dine restaurant called Bordoo. You Will remember the Three Sisters all Your life.

Compared to big chain hotels, this is cosy and quiet hotel with interesting history. Location is excellent close to harbour. Breakfast is ok, so was our room. In summer time I'd appreciate blackout curtains. There's a lovely courtyard.

Service was excellent and professional, great rooms and good breakfast. The first impression was from the outside: it looks like really, really old building, but the interior is quite modern which some old touch. We had a suite and a separate superior room, both of them we excellent.
Pros: location and service
Cons: Soundproofing - someone (russian) was making a lot of noise at night and not really nice to wake up to some drunk yelling.

Room Tip: Superior or suite? Suite has more room, a laptop and coffee machine - and bit better view.

The Three Sisters needs no advertising. It is classy and understated. The staff are friendly and discreet. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable weekend and were treated royally. They have the experience - the Queen (Elizabeth II of uk) took a floor in 2006. The hotel restaurant is excellent with a knowledgeable and helpful sommelier.

Room Tip: We had a corner room looking onto Priik the longest street in Tallinn. The old town is pedestriani...

Nice and luxorius hotel on the edge of old town. We spent one night in a superior room. Some may find bathtub/shower next to the bed disturbing, but I think it was a unique detail. Room was on the second floor and street noices can be heard quite loudly to the room. Breakast was exvellent and staff was very polite and helpful.

We were a group of 23 travellers returning from a superbly planned trip by The Villa Escape. Stayed here for 2 nights enroute just before heading back to Mumbai...Absolutely super beautiful hotel with gorgeous rooms in The Old Town. It has its own charm of being one of the oldest hotel in the Unesco Heritage Town of Talinn - Estonia. Walking distance from most sites you wanna see incuding night clubs, it is absolutely comfortable and has a good breakfast spread. Service is superb. Since we were checking out at 6 am, the hotel set out breakfast for us at 5.30 am thanks to our organisers Suchna and Yogi Shah. I would definitely wanna stay here again on my next trip...
