I think this hotel can be considered as a highly appropriated for people, who interested more in active tourism, when you need hotel only to spend 2 or 3 nights:) The staff is very friendly and always ready to help you with any questions. The meal was good, not very variegated, but you will not be hungry:) You can also buy Tallinn card at the reception. Staff speaks Russian and English. What else to say? The hotel is located a bit remotely from the center, but there is a bus stop in 20 meters in front of the hotel that will deliver you to the very center. The journey takes about 15 minutes. The hotel has a free car parking.

Room Tip: I think all rooms more or less the same. The only advice - the elevator is very slowly, so may be it is better to book a room at 1-2-3 floor to be able to walk upstairs.

I was attending a workshop outside of Tallinn direction to Pahkla. We selected Dzingel to stay there. The Hotel has the charm of the “old socialist area”. Nevertheless it provides all the services you might need. It’s not a beauty holiday resort, but a functional clean hotel with room’s quite big, simple but functional furniture and cleaned every day.
A very well stocked breakfast buffet with wide variety of warm and cold items, each morning a different fish platter, the tasty dark Estonian rye bread … I loved it.
It’s at the outskirts of Tallinn, but with bus no. 5. You can reach the nearby shopping mall in 5 minutes and down town city centre is within 20 min. Bus fare is cheap. The Hotel has safe guarded parking lots with electrical heating system to avoid that motor blocks are frozen in the heavily cold winter nights (we experienced -27° C) and appreciated this details.

Room Tip: They seem all the same. I stayed on the 6th floor to the backyard and had a two bed room, plenty of space and a nicey and clean bathroom

Reading all the reviews here after booking room online was a bit scary. I was even considering cancelling my booking, but as I had chosen best price and it was non-refundable, I tought what the hell.

And it was a great decision. Price of my superior single was best in town, hotel building seems to be renovated as it was looking much better than the picture in here, staff was nice (especially Milja @ reception and security guard Thomas) and the room was great (maybe lacking a bit of storage space, but I did not need much either :)).

So IMHO, great place to stay.

Since I had to give a training in that hotel I decided to stay there. Booking it from a prominent web-site I checked the rates, the ratings, the description and the photos. Well, it seemed as if the price-value-relation were okay, but no one mentioned with a single word that you could hear everything thru the thin walls. And no one mentioned that especially this weekend the hotel will be crowded with noisy visitors partying all night long.

Breakfast was good average, meeting room too, but the best thing was still the price for the superior room, although the furnishing was very spartan (e.g. no closet).

Nevertheless, if you just want a clean room with WIFI and a hot shower for a reasonable price this place is worth the money you pay, but bring some ear plugs along if party people are around at the same time

Room Tip: Try to get a room at the end of either side of the corridor. The further you are away from the elevator the less people pass your door and the quieter it will be.

The hotel looks like a prison and the lady at the reception acts as the warden. Tiny slow elevator. Dirty room with stains on the matrass and curtains. Incredibily noisy. Drunk youngsters returning at 4am, constantly barking dogs, garbage collection at 6 am and a railroad at 100 yards from the window.
Positive point was that we only had to stay one night. It was a relief to flee this prison.
