I can thoroughly recommend this tour as you get a wonderful walk through the old City and the food stops are excellent as they give you a flavour of the cuisine of Estonia. The tour guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable.

We recently did the Flavours of Estonia food sightseeing dinner tour.
Not really knowing what to expect from this tour, we were really wowed by the great food options we were offered, and the amazing knowledge of our guide.
The tour lasted just over 4 hours, and we basically walked around Tallinn Old Town, stopping in various pre-arranged bars, cafes and restaurants along the way. We sampled gourmet products with Estonian flovours, and had several local wines, beers and ciders included.
The highlight was undoubtedly the final dinner venue at Glorias - the food was exquisite fine dining at its best, and having our dessert in the wine cellar just finished the evening off perfectly. We initially thought the tour was a touch expensive at 75 euros, but on reflection felt it was great value for money, as everything was of a really high standard.
Heidi our guide was so friendly and helpful and told us so much about Tallinn and it's history - lots of information which we would never have learned from the guidebook, and we all felt we had enjoyed a totally gourmet experience.

We went walking through the old walled city armed with maps. There are centuries old narrow winding streets and little alleys to explore. This area is reputedly much as it was originally. However, I doubt it was so lined with shops featuring amber jewelry and eating options as it is today. That is all secondary to the charm of the old buildings, a brilliant flower market, and other surprises. My favorites were a glass shop with locally made art and a shop devoted to linen be it items such as potholders or linen yarn to knit with. Go to lookout points for beautiful views. Perhaps rent a Segway, amble around the cobblestone streets, have lunch, and enjoy the scenery.

I recently attended the Tallinn of the Locals tour and in addition to healthy dinner got a nice walk around the beautiful medieval Tallinn with the professional guide's comments and anecdotes in between the courses as we changed the venues (i.e. each course was at a different restaurant). In addition, the hosts at several restaurants, where present, shared their stories about the history of their establishment as well as the Nordic food culture in general.

So, I warmly recommend the tour to anyone who has a few hours to spare and wants to have not just a dinner, but a whole food&wine experience and see several places in one evening!
