My family and I got back from last weekend's memorable stay at this great luxury hotel in Tallinn. What an experience! I am a frequent traveler at 5-star hotels and really think this is one of the very best. We celebrated my mother's birthday at Telegraaf with a family get-together and also enjoyed a memorable birthday dinner at the Russian restaurant Tchaikovsky. Early prior to our stay I contacted the hotel reservations department via e-mail and their staff did a great and professional job arranging everything: special wishes, harbor and airport pickups, dinner reservation, and extras for the room (all for extra charge). I would like to thank especially Ms. Karin Tani for her quality work in preparing everything and doing the bookings. Pickups were professional and fast, ensuring a warm welcome in windy Tallinn. Check-in at the hotel was pleasant and we were immediately appointed our rooms on the 5th floor with a view of the courtyard over Tallin rooftops. Rooms were stylish and had all the amenities you would ever want. Pretty carpet floors and fast free wifi connection. Many details to show the history of the building (like an old-looking telephone in the room). The hotel also arranged a bouquet of white roses to my mom's room and a bottle of a quality sparkling wine in a cooler. The beds were wonderful and Emeris spa amenities had a luxury touch. Daily turndown service with chocolate bars and a free water bottle. We tried the spa and liked the jacuzzi and the saunas. The spa was quite crowded in the afternoon but the pool was very refreshing (in Roman style). Dinner was wonderful with 3 courses, two additional greetings from the chef, live classical music, and a birthday suprise by the restaurant staff - they sang happy birthday and brought my mom a dessert with a candle. She was very delighted - and surprised! Breakfast was of a good quality with a small but quality buffet and many hot dishes cooked to your liking on order (included in the fare). Coffee and teas were very good. All-in-all our stay was up to all expectations and promises by the hotel staff. I would recommend Telegraaf to anyone looking for a luxury city break in a beautiful location in Tallinn old town. Thank you Telegraaf staff for making your guests feel special and so welcome!

Room Tip: Do check the hotel spa in the basement - very relaxing :)

I came from London, was really coughing and my nose propably really more red than Rudi-reindeers. The friendly staff at the reception knew at once, how to treat me, took my carkey and helped in any possible way.

The room awaiting me was warm, cosy and inviting - I skipped unpacking my things, took the cosy bathrobe and enjoyed a real warm bath... after which I slept soooo well, I believe getting healthy went faster with the help of Telegraaf!

Breakfast was great, I looooove the oatporridge (ask it made with cream instead of milk!) and got lots of tea - service was perfect, as I had nearly no voice, stuff was very, very helpful.

Definitely a place to stay - also when healthy. I will as soon as possible return to enjoy the georgious view on Oleviste Church out of my room window and then I will also visit the spa...

One of the few places in the world, where you cant stay often enough...

Room Tip: the rooms in the "new part" have a wonderful view on Oleviste Church. My favourites!

What a good surprise. The Telegraaf is a true 5* hotel in the medieval Tallinn with fantastic rooms (even the standard), great food, nice and helpful staff, a lovely spa and unforgettable service. The hotel is small and cosy in the old building of the Estonian telecom services (you´ll notice looking for the telephones...). The rooms are very nice and very well equiped. If you request room service, you´ll not need to open the door as they have specific compartment to deliver your order (cool for people who likes privacy). The bed is amazing and will surely grant a good rest, good flat TV, free wifi and a bathroom filled with amenities. The breakfast is good and well served and I recommend to try the restaurant ;)
Not to miss the spa!!! Beatiful area with a indoor swimming pool and lots of treatments. It´s definetely the best hotel in Tallinn.

Beautiful building and rooms. Excellent location. Staff could be little bit more helpful and smile more.
I would definitely stay there again.

Visited in October 2011 with a group of friends on a B&B basis.
Excellent small hotel in city centre. Friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was very good with a large selection of hot and cold dishes.
Turndown service at night with complimentary choclate and bottle of water.
I was given a room in an annex,on the third floor. The equiped for a disabled person. Unlike other rooms on the floor it did not have carpeting (wood floor) or a settee. The bathroom did not have a bath just a shower with a plastic seat.
The only thing that prevents me from giving it the maximum rating is that there are no tea or coffee making facilities or trouser press in the executive room that I occupied.
The views from rooms at the rear overlook an area of wasteground and the backs of some old offices / properties.
This is a good four star hotel.

Room Tip: A street view would be better although noise may be a slight problem if the windows were open in sum...
