“Ideal for short break”

Just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. Well located for all the sights. Hotel staff were very pleasant, breakfast was good and rooms were spotlessly clean if a little small. It was a nice touch to get bath robes and slippers provided. Overall a very enjoyable stay and highly recommended. Supermarket situated directly across the road from the hotel which was very hand for water and snacks.

Room Tip: Rooms at back are quiet & peaceful

Just stayed at this hotel for a week. I was a bit worried when we turned into the street, but had no need to. The hotel was very close to the Old Town. The staff were all helpful and very pleasant. Our room was a good size although I did notice some were quite small. Bed was comfortable, had television in room and mini bar. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice with something to suit everyone.
We used the 48hr Tallinn Card while staying in Tallinn and this was very useful and saved us a lot of money. There is also a guide which I was not aware of before going www.likealocalguide.com. which gave details of places to eat & drink, tips on sightseeing which was also excellent. It is lovely to eat and drink at places on the Town square but if you are on a budget there are plenty of places off of the square that offer excellent value for money. Our hotel was booked through Expedia and at the time of looking for accommodation was the best value. The hotel does also have the internet & library, Restaurant & Nightclub if required. We did not hear any noise from the nightclub at all during our stay. If using local buses, trams or trolley buses, if you buy tickets at Kiosks around the city. (there is also one at the airport) they are 96cents if you purchase a ticket on bus etc they cost 1 euro 60 cents.
The bus service to and from airport is good (Number 2 Bus )and bus stops across the road from Viru centre coming from airport and outside Viru Centre going back to airport. Service is about every 20mins to half and hour, and only takes about 15mins. Staff everywhere we went during the week were all very helpful and would certainly go back for a weekend and to the same hotel.

Room Tip: Compare several internet sites

Tallinn is absolutely fantastic and the Estonian people should be incredibly proud of their accomplishments over the last 15 -20 years. I myself hadn't been there in about 14 years and was thrilled to see so much development and progress. The atmosphere is more like Helsinki than Moscow. Very highly recommended for a long weekend trip!
Hotel Bern is a decent, quiet place with a fantastic breakfast, strong wi-fi signal, and a grocery store across the street. If you will have a car, please note that being outside the walls of Old Town seems to be an advantage. Hotel Bern is an 8E cab ride to/from the airport.
One downside is that there is no fitness facility. There's a big swimming pool/fitness center compound 2 blocks away that seems to be quite newly renovated, but I never quite made it there.
Another downside is the rooms -- I had a single room that was pretty small and pretty plain. It sure was quiet, however.
I would stay at Hotel Bern again but if you are big into exercise, you might try for a room at the Kalev (sp?) water park/fitness facility.

The entrance way to the hotel was a bit off putting but once inside it was bright and friendly. It is a high standard continental type breakfast with lovely smoked fish and black break - scrambled egg and white bread was also available for those who prefer a more traditional choice. The Bern has a supermarket close by and is in a great position for exploring the old town. Would use this hotel again if returning to Tallinn which is beautiful.

The location is perfect, right next to old town. There is also a supermarket opposite from the hotel. The staff are very friendly. The hotel also offers decent and adequate breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

Overall this is an excellent hotel , good quality and good value for money with very attentive ,helpfull staff in fab location for old town and shopping malls.

My son and I had twin room on 3rd floor and my mother had asked for single bedroom but got double bedded room on 3rd floor also. Both very clean and tidy and no noise both with wet rooms. .Wardrobe Storage space was limited and when u opened one side had to push clothes back on coat hangers to open

Breakfast had decent choice and variety for most tastes very similar to fare in Polish hotels including cereals , cold meats ,pastries etc and hot scrambled eggs and meatballs( they could have been hotter)

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilties in room( travelling light meant no travel kettle this trip)

Staff very keen to advise and give hints and tips- great service.

Tallinn itself is a fab place for a city break .The old town was absolutely fabulous.

We stayed Mon - Thursday so avoided stag and hen parties.

Would defo recommend staying here on any trip to Tallinn.

Airport was only 10 mins to hotel in taxi.

Fab trip , Fab hotel, Fab City!

Room Tip: To go to Kadriorg Palace take number 1 or 3 tram
