Decent location- near a supermarket. Friendly staff. Very poor bedding! Near a pub for bikers - noisy. There were problems with the Internet. In general, a good choice, but it is clearly not a 4 star.

Our room was at the bottom floor. The noise that came from the bar next door was very disturbing and when the bar closed people moved literally behind our window to continue their party. At 2am. I askes if we could have another room to get some sleep. Luckily , one room on the otherside was available. The girl at the reseption was helpless and said that they should have security and she has been asking those people to make a move and shut up. And this was Monday night!

We stayed two nights at the hotel with our friends in June. Nice, quiet and gozy hotel just nearby Old Town of Tallinn. Friendly and helpful staff, tasteful breakfast and very clean hotelroom with AC.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Hotel Bern and this is an excellent hotel. I will comment individually on each of the elements to give you an informed view. However first of all, I take exception at some of the reviews posted - particular comments regarding room, bathroom and noise...

Rooms - Rooms are well furnished and equipped. Beds are superb and very soft and extremely comfortable. Temperature of room also controlled by air conditioning, which was easily used and accessible. Very comfortable room that is ample sized. 3 curtains and blinds that really kep the light out.

Bathroom - Very modern, stylish and clean. All of the things you would expect are available. Yes the shower is in the bathroom and doesnt have a separate tray but it doesnt cause an issue?? There is a floor squeegy mop that after 1 wipe the floor is clear of water. In my opinion, the way they have this designed actually makes it much cleaner. Its actually a clever design!

Breakfast - A very good breakfast. Offering a selection of hot drinks, toast, 3 cereals, and a variety of juices. All of the standard cold meats and salads also available. Hot food was a bit limited - offering only meat balls and scrambled eggs each day. It would have been nice to have some additional options.

Location - Perfect and central. 2 minutes walk to the Old Town. There is a very good bar under the hotel called Beer Garden. A nice large pub that again is very well appointed. Except Fri and Sat the pub closes at 12pm and the side door is actually closed and locked forcing any late drinkers out the other side away from the hotel.

Finally, we were there on a Fri and Sat night, and stayed in Room 312. This was on 3rd floor - directly above front door overlooking court yard. We did not hear any noise or have any problems. Indeed there is even a security guard in the courtyard on busier nights.

Overall, a superb hotel at a good price in a very good location. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Higher floor room, though only 3 floors anyway. Room at front offers slightly better views.

Room 209 overlooking the entrance was very noisy. Second night in Room 215 was quiet. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Poor bathroom design (floor is flooded after shower), and poor ventilation (some unpleasant odour. Air conditioning worked well. Great breakfast! Great location!

....maybe the room was a bit too small and I wood have liked to open the window, wich wasn't possible. The Ventilation did a good Job, but could have been a little more noiseless. Breakfast was well-cooked. Great: Location of the Hotel near the old Town of Tallinn. Not far from the Airport, Low costs for Taxi. Alltogether a good stay.

i walked from the ferry to your Hotel. I had a dificult time finding your Hotel. Once I got there every thing was satisfactory. The street over to Aia Street from the major highway is not marked. To me, it looked like a park and I walked to far South.
