Okey, this hotell surprised us! From outside, first thing you will notice is the very small balconys. Not every room has them but if you are lucky to get a room with balcony facing the street you can actually work on your suntan. It fits two people but thats about it. We arived at 11, 4 h before regular check in time. We where told that our room would be ready at 12. Left our bags at the hotell and went for the city to kill some time. Back at 12.15, our room was not ready. No problem though, we got another room without problems. Check in went smoothly and we felt very welcome by the friendly staff. We stayed at the 4:th floor, 4 elevators directly next to reception. Funny and somewhat moden looking hotell where every corridor is lit up with colourchanging LED.s wich can be annoying to some ppl but we loved it. Room was modern looking with an odd chair in zeebra-look, a large lamp in the corner wich gave the room a cool nightclub-effect. We unscrewewd 3out of 5 bulbs becuse the light was too strong and we liked having the room flooded in red light at night. Small minibar in room with somewhat high prices, 4.50 euro for a 33cl beer. Bathroom was very clean but misses out on everything except cheap schampoo. Nice working aircon wich also was pretty quiet. Speaking of quiet, the room was extremly well silenced, you dont hear anything from the road outside with closed balconydoor! Beds: well, nothing to write home about, not hard and not supersoft. Problem is low quality, you can feel and hear the springs and when i satt in the bed (i wheigh about 95 kg) the bed bottened out, not to good. Still good enough to give us two good nights sleep! Breakfast: oh dear, here is why we only give this hotell 3 stars. Strange combination where you will find: pancakes, chicken drumsticks, chopped bacon (must be a gorilla working in the kitchen), fried potatoes, meatballs, sausages, scrambled eggs, warm tomatoes and a lot of small flies. On another station you will find low quality cheese, two sorts of some weird ham, tomatoes cut in 4 halfes (stop wasting time cutting bacon and start slicing tomatoes?) low quality liverpat'e and cucumber cut in slices by an ape or at least a blind person (could not find a whole cucumberslice anywhere), and oh yes more flies. Last station will tempt you with youghurt not sutible for vegetarians due to kamikaze-flies, canned fruit, cinnamonbuns and a lowpriced blueberrypie that even the flies did not ear. Orangejuice? No lemonade from concentrate with orange flavouring. Coffe? Don't bother. If breakfast is included, good for you, if it's not included, don't bother, go eat at Hesburger or closer to town. Finaly the so called spa: okey, 7 different saunas, all worked fine, both larger pools where to cold for our liking. Massageshowers: only one worked properly but to be honest, the shower in your room will give you the same massage if you need it.

Overall this is a nice hotell. The only setback is the horrific breakfast but since it was included in our price we can't argue about this. The pricerange for this hotell is on the low side, it is a cheap hotell so do not expect 5 star quality. We liked it a lot and will visit it again in the near future. Hopefully the breakfast will be better, if not, no big deal.

Finally: entrance to the spa was free of charge 24/7 for us. It is a 10 min walk from the d- terminal and no need for taxi! Free wifi worked great, we watched movies without problems.

This is a modern 'glass' hotel in the harbour of Tallinn. The old town is nearby (walking distance), as well as the city centre. The hotel is marketing itself as a spa hotel, but I would rather say it's a hotel with a couple of swimming pools and some saunas (Finnish and steam). The pool area is quite nice though, and children definitely enjoy this place.

For us the service was fine, though this is clearly not a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is a Scandinavian buffer, which suited us, though the rush hour (one hour before the breakfast ends) was not too great of an experience - no seats were available if you came too late.

The hotel is well situated near the harbor and with a short walking distance to old town. We had booked a deluxe suite, which was very spacious with a seating area, king-size bed, large bathroom with a tub and views of the spa. It was +25+30C outside, and luckily the AC was working well after we got it started. The bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the only complaint about the room was the bathroom, where the tub was very slow in letting water run out, and the floor got slippery when wet. Also, the cleaning ladies had not been to our room when we had been away @ 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., although they had been patrolling in our hallway, so we had to ask for the cleaning separately.

The decor of the room and the hotel was very strange, but was partly explained when I read the stylist was going for a space theme. The multi-coloured worm-like rugs, red lamps and metallic accents didn´t do it for me, but matters of taste are always debatable.

We tried the spa, and spent nice times with friends at the outdoor pool and bar, the Jacuzzis and the sauna section. Can highly recommend this, and it was included in the price for hotel guests.

Breakfast was ok, although I would have liked to see more fresh fruits as it was summer time. And my spouse was disappointed every morning when there was no bacon, although there was supposed to be.

All in all, a bit pricey but worth the money for a short weekend get-away.

We spent two nights in this hotel with my family (July 27th to 29th). We chose the hotel mainly by its location close to both the harbor and the old town. It is a good quality hotel. It's clean and modern, and the space theme adds a nice touch to the interior, both in the rooms and at the public areas. There is a very good a la carte restaurant, and the breakfast is good too, not a huge selection but big enough. The top floor cigar bar is a cosy little place with a stylish interior and a good view over the city. Too bad there was hardly ever any customers; I went there twice and was the only person there for the half an hour I spent there.

The pool area is also nice and clean. There are two main pools and smaller jacuzzis etc. A few steam saunas, too. We preferred the traditional Finnish sauna though. No water slides or anything fancy (in fact, if you've got kids you might want to visit the Kalev water park close by. They have a more versatile pool area). But it was spacious and relaxing with massaging showers and a nice little drink bar at the pool. The only problem was that - unfortunately just like many other spas I've visited - they don't really see to that the pool regulations are followed. During the morning time (7:00-10:00) there was no staff members at all at the pool. Not one. There were children running around and jumping wildly into the pools - even into the jacuzzis while there were other people there. If the parents don't have the sense to tell their kids to mind other people, the staff should. I'm not the type that gets annoyed from kids having fun, but it was getting dangerous already. Otherwise it was OK.

The rooms are clean and have that same modern touch too. There was a lot of light and some light colors too, plus the roof was quite high, which gave the room a nice spacious feel. The twin beds were comfortable and mattresses surprisingly soft, which was a good thing; I've used to quite hard mattresses in hotels. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. A couple of downsides, though; according to the room info there should have been something like 18 TV channels, but our TV had only three, of which only one was working, and it was Estonian so we couldn't really watch TV. But we didn't come to Estonia to watch TV so that didn't bother us too much. Also the extra bed for our daughter was broken; there were some wooden bars missing from under the mattress so the bed couldn't be used. I'm sure we could have had it replaced with a proper one, but our daughter preferred to sleep with us on the twin beds so ultimately we didn't need the extra bed.

I see people complaining here about rude service - we didn't experience that. That said, there are different cultures. In Estonia - like in Finland - people don't have the 24/7 smile on their faces like in Thailand, but that doesn't mean that they are disrespecting the customer. Their verbal output may seem a little short and abrupt - again, like us Finns - but that's just the culture. Don't mistake it for rudeness, and you won't have to complain.

We would definitely go back to this hotel.

We booked this hotel to experience special Estonian SPA that we heard a lot about earlier. The experience was disappointing.

The SPA is industrialized with zero charm. There was not even one special sauna with herbal essence. The towels are not available, we had to get the, from the room. It's not the best maintained and not really clean. Some showers and facilities were not working.

Overall the staff is not friendly and they are very arrogant. They did not provide us with one useful information. When we asked for the massages they did not have any info about it, they sent us to the salon to ask.

Breakfast area was massive with low choices and food was not tasty.

Finally, when we were leaving to take the cruising boat that is the same company, we hoped that there will be any shuttle option, but we were wrong. The staff was not even able to give us information about taxi. They said EUR 5 to the terminal which is 5min away. We ended up paying EUR12 for 300m drive.

Room Tip: Just do not stay here

This hotel has a great location just next to the harbor but the city and old city of Tallinn are abt 15 min walk away. Also a free bus from the harbours Terminal D goes to the shopping mall Rocca al Mare with Saku Hall (eg.concerts, sports) and the zoo right next to it.
The hotel has good facilities and is spacious. The spa area is nice and relaxing with jacuzzis and pool bar, there is also a year round open outside pool. The breakfast was set in the hotels "night club", a spacious and area with big windows. Breakfast in itself is of good amount of cold and warm foods but the scrambled eggs and especially coffee was REALLY poor. Our room was ok for two, but the beds were really low and seemed really old. Also the other beds leg was broken when we entered our room. The staff dealt with it immediately though. Also the bathroom was nice but the ceiling was a bit creepy with all the plumbing and a/c pipes showing...
The only thing that was a huge minus for me was the staff. When cheking in we didn't feel welcome at all. No hello or even eye contact from the reception staff. When we got to the counter, the man behind the desk didn't welcome us or even smile!! He seemed really keen on just getting us off the counter. Answering the phone while we were there and he snapped at us when we didn't fill in the correct spots on the registration form saying "I told you that these have to be filled".Also there is a nice lounge/bar area next to the reception, but the girls working there were rude. They looked at us like we were some insects. when we were there, so we decided not to go since we didn't feel welcome. Also the staff speak really poor english!! At a hotel of this standard, the service should be better with customers all over the world.
I will not return to this hotel or recommend it to anyone!

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have windows to the spa.

Traveling with wife, daughter and granddaughter and attending the song festival as participant, this place was very nice. The staff were exceedingly pleasant and helpful. And the pool provided just the distraction that a six year old needs to make the day a happy experience. This hotel provided just enough distance from the crowds of people in town for the festival without being remote.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the old town.
