This is a lovely place to stay. Very quaint and traditional.
Comfortable and clean.
A perfect location within the old town.
We felt very relaxed here .
Would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room and some curtains ! But other than this it was fab!

Very nice and clean hotel. Our room was 318 and there were no wall neighbors. So no noise was heard from other rooms. Only from the corridor was some noise registered. Breakfast was very good. The real old atmosphere like in old town should be.

Myself and my Russian girlfriend Maria stayed here 13-16 June in room 328.
Firstly I would not add any photos as theres plenty here already.
On arrival I was slightly disappointed as the exterior looked dated...
However once inside.. oh my God. It is beautiful. Like an old English manor house. We made a game of who could locate the room but after a few attempts its not rocket science. Our room was beautiful. Everything you would need with a pristine shower room.
We were at the front so yes a bit of late night noise but hey! Youre in the heart of the old town just close the windows?.
Breakfast typical continental apart from there was fresh sardines and salmon steaks. Also fresh cooked meats buttered roats potatoes and much much more.
If you like breakfast there was easily enough for you to skip lunch. Dining room was a beautiful room with old artwork pristine tables and relaxing background music.
All I can add is that we do not meet as often as we would like but next time I will ask her to book this hotel. I fell in love with the place and have already recommended it to friends to take their partners for a romantic get away.

The location of the hotel is perfect ! Its in the middle of the old town and close to all attractions. The building is fascinating and beautiful and we got a room from the top floor with same old wooden bars, the room was nice. But big minus is that the customer service in this hotel is a joke... We hardly got a Hello when we arrived and the same kind of attitude has continued trough our trip. The breakfast was also not that good and most of the things were over one hour before the breakfast time ended.

Room Tip: Many complained about the lower floors so try to get one from top floors

This is a lovely hotel in a superb location, in Tallinn Old Town. The hotel is full of character, with winding corridors, interesting stone work, beams and atmospheric lighting. It is filled with antique furniture, paintings and curios. The room was large, roomy and comfortable, although the bathroom was small and rather cramped. The room was cleaned each day, and clean towels provided daily. Breakfast is adequate, and served in a beautiful room. We did not find any problem with noise in the hotel, but our room was located on the second floor, around a quiet courtyard, which may have cut down any noise from outside.

The hotel is nicely located. Our room was in the backyard section of the hotel. I enjoyed the old atmosphere but the things I did not enjoy was the smell of mould in the room and thin walls. Luckily our neigbours were not noisy. The source was smell should be investigated as some previous reviewers pointed out the same problem. Sensitive and allergic travellers should avoid this hotel.

Room Tip: Ask beforehand in which part of the hotel your room is located.

This is a nice, old and quaint hotel set close to the main sqaure in Tallinn. Easy to get to all the sights in the city. Hotel is clean and tidy, only downside, quite noisy as it is close to a night club but in general very nice.
