Description: A la carte menu of Bonaparte is based on a classic French cuisine, combined with the newest trends in food culture of the world. From the very beginning, we've been focusing on high quality of both food and services offered. Everything is made on the spot in Bonaparte, including bakery products, chocolate and ice cream. As a decent French restaurant, we also offer a good choice of wine from different regions of France.

“Great Lunch Spot in the Old Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2013

We had lunch in this charming bakery/restaurant. The food was superb and the presentation very elegant. It's in an old building. Check out the restroom. You reach it through an underground tunnel. Do give yourself plenty of time. Service is leisurely as it is in most of the region.

“Restaurant review only”

If you plan on dining there on a Wednesday before 1900, be sure the Rotary Club isn't there; nothing against the Rotary Club mind you, it is just that the place is small and you WILL feel like you are part of their meeting. This is a "fine dining" restaurant, probably best for a special occasion. We found the atmosphere in our seating area off the main dining room to be perfect, as we had it all to ourselves. I don't know how large the kitchen brigade is here, but in addition to our very attentive waitstaff, our table was visited by a number of them including their saucier. Without exception, this was an outstanding experience with respect to the service and presentation. It is somewhat puzzling then that the food itself was not the high point of the evening.

“Pastries and coffee for the tired traveler”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 September 2012

This place has freshly baked, very nice pastries and also chocolate, tea, etc. that one can buy as gifts to take home. Have not been to the restaurant, just the deli. Kind staff, nice atmosphere, a good pit stop for some rest before continuing your walk in the old town.
