Modern, comfortable, has carpark (for a fee) connected by lift to hotel, location just outside the old city.
This hotel ticks the boxes but does not exceed in anything, perhaps because it seems to be quite busy generally as well as having bus tours pass through.
Reception staff were efficient and helpful, as were lobby bar staff.
As others have noted, breakfast can be very busy (even at 0700) with the requirement to search for a table. Breakfast choices are OK without being exciting, though they had some nice mushrooms on my visit.
Rooms are modern, which you'll love if you're into that style. Ablutions good-very good: we had a bath and shower overhead. Nothing to fault in the room (just nothing that excited us).
Tea/coffee making in the room (which is a bonus in this part of the world); bathrobes provided.
As in all of Estonia, wi-fi is free.
The lobby is on the large side and has a fair lobby bar with outside seating, which is great on a sunny day.
Overall, value was good to very good. I have stayed at other hotels in Tallinn and I think the Nordic is a good option. Recommended.

Room Tip: Higher up and at the front - overlooks the main road but not disturbingly noisy.

This is a nice hotel with a good location just outside the Old Town in Tallinn!
Reception: Helpful and kind staff, working efficiently taking care of the group I belonged to.
Rooms: Big rooms, soft and very comfy beds, dark colors and wall-to-wall carpeting (seems a bit 1970...).
Breakfast: Very crowded if you come at the most busy time. Too few staff to clean the tables (when I arrived there were around 10 uncleaned tables and there was a queue waiting...).
Conference: Very helpful and attentive staff.
Frequent Flyer: Be aware that even if they advertise that they will give FFM, they do not always...
WiFi: Free and good band width.
Overall: Fairly standard

Very modern nice and large room with a huge window. Loved it. The bathroom was great and very clean. I was on the 7th floor but the elevators were fast and I never had to wait more than a few seconds. all the staff was very smily, very polite and always keen to help. breakfast was amazing and the location is good, though you have to walk 10-15 mn to get in the center of the old city. the room was very silent. would love to go there again.

This is modern comfortable hotel just outside the old town so location is very good. It is quite busy around the hotel and although the bus station is just opposite, it is quite difficult to find the crossing without making a detour, On the other hand the tram stop is quite close.

The staff were very helpful and helped to arrange a tour for us when the so-called official tour office located in the foyer said they could not help as they did not book for the specific company and could not offer us an alternative. The room was quite spacious compared with experience in Sweden and everything was very clean. The room looked out on the main street and could get warm when the sun was out. The breakfast was good although the breakfast area was a bit small for the number of people around at any one time. The bathroom was also very clean with an easy walk in shower. Yes I think it is probably one of the best options for Tallin. It is also a short distance from the ferry terminals- but probably a bit far to walk with cases. If you need money from a 'hole in the wall" there is a terminal quite close as you walk into the old city (they are not so plentiful in Tallin.)

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days (business trip). What I liked about this hotel most is its location - right next to the old town. The room and breakfast were average, so if I had a choice I would probably have chosen another hotel. However, service was very good and another plus is a swimming pool.

The Nordic Hotel Forum is a safe choice in Tallinn. Located just outside the old town it's very convenient for discovering Tallinn. Just opposite the hotel is the Sokos Hotel Viru which must be the highest building in central Tallinn, so whenever you feel a bit lost, just look for the hotel Viru building and know that the Nordic Forum is right there too!

The hotel has many guests from Finland and Scandinavia, which means people with high standards. The rooms are clean, more spacious than average hotel rooms and nicely furbished. The breakfast is also very Scandinavian, fresh and good with everything from bacon to porridge.

The prices are very good. I've stayed at the Nordic Forum before, then once at hotel Viru, but for the third trip I didn't need to look for any options - I knew I wanted the Nordic Forum Hotel.

Oh - and there's a pool as well!

Reason: I have a conference in the end of May there, so it was special rate for people who participate in conference.

Location: Excellent location

Room: Double room for single use. So it was big room for one person. Comfortable. The view was to the main street, but it wasn't noisy. Just if you don't want to sleep with open curtains it is a lot of light from street promotions. Didn't like that it was not possible open the window. And if you totally turn off air condition still some noise from it, because it connected to hotel air condition.
The shower haven't curtains, so after showering all bathroom is wet.

Hotel:
Good relaxing center what is included in the price. Has one Jacuzzi, swimming pool and 2 saunas. The swimming pool wasn't very clean, but still enjoy tine there.
Breakfast was big and good, but at 8 am it was a lot of people. Was difficult to find a place together for more than 2 people.

Service: The stuff was helpful and understand Russian. They suggest nice place where to eat cheap.
As it was special rate it wasn't possible to use BalticMiles card and earn points.

Conclusion: I was really disappointed with possibility not to open any window, so for me it was horrible. Next time definitely I'll choose other hotel.
