I visited this hotel after reading the previous trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. We were in a deluxe room which was a really good size. It was furnished in a modern style with hardwood flooring in the bedroom and bright mosaic tiles in the bathroom. It was very clean and came with a modern take on a 4-poster bed which included a large Flat Screen TV which was great. We got complementrary water every day and replacement sachets for the coffee machine. ( I must admit I'd prefer a kettle to make tea or coffee) The staff were always helpful and efficient though sometimes lacking the Western "customer friendlyness" you see in other countries. Breakfast was good with a wide range of things to eat from rice crispies to smoked mackerel and with endless supplies of tea, coffee and bread. There was a spa which looked very nice but I never got around to using it. My brother, who was on vacation with us, did use it and said it was really good. To top it off we got free Wi-Fi and free use of the room safe, fantastic!

One thing that made me smile were the carpets in the corridors. they were printed to look like cobbled streets and grassy paths, weird.

I would certainly go back again and can recommend it to others

Room Tip: I'd recommend a room at the back of the hotel as the main road is a little noisy

Stayed here 2 nights for a city break in Tallinn, good location as its only a 2 min walk to the old town, check in was smooth, staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is spotless including pool area, Modern clean and bright interior and a well stocked bathroom, food is good including breakfast which has lots of choice for all tastes.
Great points... The most comfortable bed i have ever slept in a very quite and peaceful hotel and loved the bar seating areas both inside and outside this hotel.
The only negative i can think of is no tea and coffee in room or bottled water, there is a mini bar but pricey as always.

Nice hotel in the middle of town, just hundred meters from the Old Town. Pool department with sauna on the " roof" was the best, spent most time there and in the room, because the beds were so comfortable. Kids can watch movies in the room during the whole stay for some euros extra. Very clean and nice rooms, except two glasses that we´re dirty and uncleaned(??!!). Nice shower room too with only a glasswall between the room and the bathroom. Our room was faced towards the old Post Office- building, that nowadays is empty and very ugly, so no nice view at all. We will go back there again anyway..

The Nordic Hotel Forum is easy to find; it is right across the street from the Radisson Blu, which is easily the tallest building in Tallinn. It was a quick bus ride in from the airport, and the attractive lobby was a welcome sight. We had a snack and a beer in the lounge while waiting for our room, which looked out onto a side street. It was very quiet and had everything you could need. We very much enjoyed exploring the narrow cobbled streets of Tallinn; there is a beautiful flower market and many, many restaurants, as well as shops that offer good value. Our friends in Helsinki said to wait until we got to Tallinn to do any shopping, and they were right. We had dinner at the Mekk, an Estonian-fusion restaurant that was wonderful. We also took a bus tour to Lahemaa national park, along the Bay of Finland; it was okay, with two stops at German "manor" houses and a 15-minute walk along the sea. We wanted to go with a different tour company, but it was the wrong day of the week. The Hotel Forum was a good value and had everything we needed.

Three nights in Tallinn and where to stay? I'm so happy I chose to stay at the Nordic Hotel Forum as it turns out. The hotel is situated right in the city centre, across the street from the central bus station and a stone's throw from the Old Town.
Apart from the hotel's central location the Nordic Hotel Forum is a real gem. A four star hotel that almost feels like five star from the moment you set foot in its bright and atmospherically spacious lobby.
The check in staff at front desk were so professional and polite I was a little taken aback - it had been many years since my last visit to Tallinn and it was obvious that these young staff members had been trained to the highest standard.
And then there was my room on the sixth floor, which boasted a bed bigger than many hotel rooms I've stayed in the past. The en-suite was a roomy, well stocked space with bath, shower, and adjoining WC.
The room also boasted a giant tv set which doubles as a PC, wi-fi as standard (all over Tallinn in fact), well-stocked mini-bar and not too expensive compared to most hotels. However, the giant bed I've mentioned had a problem - it was so comfortable it made it difficult to get up in the morning to go exploring the city's many wonderful sights.
Breakfasts each morning were of the buffet variety, with large assortments of food to suit any palate. The breakfast room was very busy so I recommend getting there early - but isn't that another sign of how good this lovely hotel is.
Although I didn't try either the swimming pool (yes there is one), or the restaurant I spoke to some guests who did and they could not say enough good things about them.
I would be delighted, no thrilled to stay at the Nordic Forum Hotel on my next visit to Tallinn. With such wonderful rooms, service, staff, food and proximity to the city centre you'll be hard pushed to find better.

Room Tip: I can only speak for the rooms on the sixth floor, but ask for one at the back of the hotel, just to...

Our stay at the Nordic didn't start out very well. We wanted a non-smoking room and were given one that stank of smoke. We couldn't stay there. The windows didn't open and it was just too stinky. But the front desk staff quickly fixed the problem and we were quite comfortable for our stay. The only real complaint I had about the room was the frosted glass bathroom walls. While you couldn't see everything clearly, you had no privacy at all when in the shower or using the toilet. Everyone in your room could easily make out your silouette. Since i was staying with a friend it made for an uncomfortable situation.

Biggest plus is the amazing breakfast. Probably the best buffet I've ever had.
