This hotel is located at the very centre of Tallinn. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff very polite (this is not always the case in former Soviet-Estonia). Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is not too big, so the breakfast was very pleasant. I can recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tallinn. The rooms were also very quiet. You cannot opoen the windows, but the airconditioning was very good.

Room Tip: Ask the room facing the backyard, the busy street may be noisy (I dont know, but to be sure)

Quite a new hotel. Near the harbour, old town and the big shopping centre Viru.

Very good breakfast.

The relaxation centre is free of charge for hotel quests.

We have stayed here two times. The first time was in a nice spacious suite. Some small "things" that didn't quite work: Only two coffee capsules even though we stayed there for several nights. One day they forgot to clean our room.

We didn't like the wall-to-wall carpet in the standard room.

I visited Tallin this past April on a business trip. Although this hotel was chosen by our hosts I am glad that I stayed at this hotel. One obvious advantage is the location of hotel. It is situated in the heart of Tallin, just few minutes from the Old Town's square. But this hotel is so much more than just location. It combines proffessional and helpful staff, clean rooms and a pleasnt atmosphere. The biggest 'PLUS' for me was the breakfast - a wide choice of different types of dishes will satisfy even fussiests. One disadvantage that I would point to is too little sunlight in rooms.
Surely, were I to visit Tallin in the future, this hotel will be my one and only choice.

Room Tip: aks for rooms with windows facing the steet - they are a little lightier

This hotel has very good reviews and it's actually ok but for me there was one thing that ruined everything - you couldn't open the window at all and the air conditioning was out of control. If it's not important for you I would recommend it.

Room Tip: 702 has a great view.

Assuming you have the budget of 100-150 euros a night, then I fully recommend this Hotel.
Firstly and as so often most importantly, the location is as good as it gets. The hotel is literally just minutes away from the heart of the old town. My first night was at the Radisson Blue Olumpia, and whilst the room was fine the distance to the old town was just too far.
Back to the Nordic...it is privately owned and the benefits of care and attention come thru.
I took the Double de Lux on the top floor...and whilst a notch or two over the standard,i was very pleased with the room. The design of both bedroom and bathroom made the extra worthwhile.
WiFi was free and worked pretty well. I would, like others, say the coffee machine is a bad choice. It is not easy to operate and to be only offered 2 cups without paying for more is penny pinching and annoying
The spa area is fine...not large and can be overcrowded, but pick your times carefully is a good facilty.
Breakfast is not a high point of the hotel. When busy, the area is a bit of a scrum and to be honest ,I thought the quality only just ok. If this is important to you,you might reconsider your choice.
I would echo comment from others...this City has a problem with taxis !!! If taking a taxi from the hotel,do not assume it is ok. Check first with reception. There are a number of seemingly genuine taxis that will rip you off...and some of the stories are alarming. If going to/from the port the taxi cost should be around 5 euros.
Whilst the old town is the natural destination from the hotel, behind the hotel are a few decent bars/restaurants as well as a very good cinema complex.

Room Tip: Double de lux 8th floor (mine was 801)
