Hotel is very modern and stylish. Bed was a good size and comfortable. Bathrooms don't offer full privacy with glazed wall sections. We found some of the hotel staff to be unhelpful. We complained about the breakfast, hot items were luke warm. You have to set your own table and everything is self-service. Compared to other city hotels we have stayed in, the choice of breakfast items was not brilliant. Roof-top spa is relaxing with great views. Very handy for port and centre of town. We got the ferry to Helsinki, 2 hour sailing. Helsinki is worth a visit. Tallinn is a feel-good place, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

Room Tip: At front of hotel, you can hear trams, but it's not too bad.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in early June. The front desk staff was courteous, helpful, and spoke English. We booked a suite and were fortunate to receive a corner suite on the top floor with a view of the Old Town. The suite was very spacious. However, the furnishings are starting to show wear. The suite had large tall windows which were great for the views, but bad for outside traffic noise. The screeching brakes/wheels on the trams made it difficult to sleep. Also, there were no blackout shades which resulted in a lot of light coming into the room late into the night and early morning due to the summer’s long daylight hours in Estonia.

The bathroom was very spacious with separate shower, tub, and toilet. No washcloths were provided which is normal in some European countries, but surprising for a large business-like hotel. Also, the bath towels were disappointingly small and very thin. The shower head was a European “rain shower” which are normally nice, but this one was like a light sprinkle. The water pressure was very low and the water temperature did not stay consistent.

Free WIFI was available in the room and worked very well. Complimentary bottles of water were also provided. The hotel was close to Old Town with a short few minute walk to the Viru Gate.

The breakfast buffet was good and had a wide range of both hot and cold items (scrambled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, fruit, pastries, and more). The downside to breakfast was that it could get very crowded at times. One morning only one table was free and it was full of dirty dishes. I don’t blame the staff, but lack of staff. The breakfast staff was always hard at work trying to keep up and they did a good job of keeping the buffet stocked.

Overall we had an okay stay here. We would probably stay elsewhere if we ever return to Tallinn.

Room Tip: Corner suites are spacious, but have loud traffic noise from outside.

My husband and I spent. three nights at the Hotel Nordic Forum while visiting Tallinn, thanks to its reviews in TripAdvisor. We were totally impressed with the hotel--the room was spacious and extremely clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large and very modern , the location was very central and in easy walking distance to the sights of Old Tallinn, and the breakfast buffet was sumptuous! We wished we could have stayed longer!

We stayed here three nights and there were three of us in the small room. We checked in late at night and didn't find the staff particularly warm, friendly or helpful. The guy that checked us in didn't ask for a credit so were then not able to charge things to our room. We also had an issue the temperature setting on the air on and the guy that came to our room was not able to sort the problem and didn't offer any solution. The bathroom was terrible as the screen on the shower was too short so the bathroom floor was covered in water after one shower. There are no black out curtains or blinds in the room which is not ideal for the bright nights of summer.
The wifi in the hotel worked very well and was a fast connection. The buffet breakfast was also excellent, lots of choices. The location of the hotel was also very good, close to the hop on hop off bus.

We stayed here for two days in June. The hotel is well located for walking into the old town and is also near a variety of shops and restaurants. The breakfast selection was huge and tasty. Staff were helpful and accommodating. There is a nice lobby bar with seating outside and a business center, handy for printing off boarding passes etc. Rooms are nice furnished.

I stayed here for 4 nights in April. I'd booked the suite and was hoping to get a good relaxing experience after a long day's work. Sadly it didn't fully live up to my expectations. First the relax-center was very small (though awesome view from it) and not really what I'd expect. Secondly I had hope for more variation and quality when it came to the breakfast. I've traveled quite a bit and I found this was not good enough for the standard I require to be satisfied.

Overall on OK, experience but nothing more.
