The room we were assigned had a sewer gas smell in the bathroom. It took several minutes of arguing with the front desk staff to get them to move us (they initially claimed that there were no other rooms available).

Dear Guest Papagalepa,

Thank you for your review. I understand your un-satisfaction regarding the room move. Hotel was fully booked at that day and it took few minutes to wait until hotel system showed availability of clean rooms. I want to apologize for the inconvenience and hope that I will have the chance to welcome you back soon at Nordic Hotel Forum.

Wishing you well,
Feliks Mägus

A week at the Nordic Forum was just right for a relaxing break for my son and I. Centrally located for the Old Town and all it's delights, a comfortable, clean room was very welcome for our tired feet. The breakfasts are amazing, catering for all tastes, reception staff all friendly and helpful. Late night bar relaxing. The only slight criticism is the spa area, not as nice as the photos. Small and the floor was so wet and slippy, all could do with a bit of updating. All in all though, a great hotel.

We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed this hotel tremendously. Staff was excellent and great location. Free wifi throughout the hotel. We also enjoyed the wellness center. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I spent three nights in this hotel. A great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Tallinn. Service was excellent (no surprise there for Estonia). The hotel seemed to be full to bursting point with coachloads of people, but that only seemed to be an issue at breakfast, which has has been said in other reviews was very crowded (but the food was good). We had to share a table one morning (most of the tables appear to be for four people, but the hotel seems to be mainly used by couples - they should exchange the four-person tables for two person ones, there is space!). Despite the hotel being full, the pool, which has a great view of the city, was almost empty when we used it.

Room Tip: The room at the front of the hotel are next to quite a busy road so avoid the lower floors there. On...

Went to Tallinn and booked the Nordic forum hotel.
We were pleasantly surprised.rooms are great beds very comfortable.
With a breakfast that would be fit for a king just about every thing you could want for your breakfast
Staff are very helpful but what was really good was the location of the hotel about 5mins from the old town. So central !!!!

Room Tip: We were on 5th floor great room get up before 9 for breakfast or you might not get a seat

Fantastic location. Great if your coming by boat 6€ taxi fare from boat terminal. Staff were extremely friendly and spoke fantastic English.

Buffet breakfast had a piece of everything and was all fresh and replenished.

Rooms were clean and quite large! Beds are comfortable! Hotel is within walking distance of everything in old town and has great restaurants surrounding it or room service is available!

Overall fantastic stay and would highly recommend if visiting Tallinn.

The Nordic Hotel Forum is great value for money. To start with the location, the hotel is about a 10 mins walk to the quaint Old Town of the city. So close enough that you can go and to fro from the Old Town and yet far enough that you're not inundated with rowdy stag parties that are roaming about the Old Town area. The hotel itself offers great service and the room was spanking clean and of a good decent size. The breakfast offered at the hotel was amazing too and had a huge spread of practically everything you'd imagine to have as your first meal of the day. The hotel also boats a pool - albeit it's relatively small so don't expect too much in the way of a workout. That said, if you fancy a fun dip, the pool's pretty good as it has windows all around letting the sun in. If nothing else, you should jump into the hot tub with a few drinks in hand and finish off in either the steam room or the sauna. All in all, would definitely recommend this hotel. Oh and if you're looking to rent a car, the front desk will be able to sort you out with a really good deal so that you don't have to haggle with one of the rent-a-car people off the street.
