The Old Hansa is an experience, with staff dressed in medieval gear in a banqueting hall from many yore ago lit only by candles (this makes reading the menu a bit difficult). Seating is on wooden trestles (a bit hard on the bottom for those less padded), walls are decorated with medieval murals and the toilets are worth the visit just for interesting arrangements.
We had the Medieval Feast at 37 Euros per head which is a bit on the steep side but the food was good with a different mix of filling plates. Our waitress Laura, who seemed to be looking after the whole room, was very personable as she managed the breaking the bread procedure prior to surving the meal. We visited this restaurant several years ago in Winter when the band played up on the stage in the banqueting hall and the atmosphere was much better than this time. In the Summer the band plays outdoors for the outside patrons. For this reason I would recommend the outside seating and as an added bonus you will also be able to read the menu.
