My feelings.

When I arrived in Tartu I knew I wanted to go to this restaurant. According to reviews this place is very good.
When I arrived at the restaurant, it had a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. The waiters were very nice and understanding. At the beginning we ordered cocktails, they were very nice both in appearance and taste. Foods I tasted: starters( crispy croquettes, duck burgers, 40C trout). Croquettes where really nice and the souce on the side was really good, fresh taste. For main dishes i took: portobello and grilled octopus. The portobello was really nice, taste was fresh, it was an easy meal. The octopus was perfectly cooked in terms of consistency, but the inky risotto was not good, the rice was either cooked or uncooked.
The whole evening was well spent, without any problems. Thanks for the service!

Lunchtime feed

After reading many positive reviews about their food I decided to try for myself. After taking the first bite into what looked like a delicious piece of steak , I realized none of the reviews would of been for this. I should of just poured a large pack of salt on a farmer's gumboot. It would of tasted the same. Way over cooked and very salty. Apart from the food, the service was very prompt and friendly. I do recommend this restaurant but avoid the steak and salad

Weekday late nigth dinner

Just great. Friendly efficient staff, nicely decorated cozy environment and most importantly perfect super tasty dishes with reasonable price. A big thumbs up and definitely will visit again.

Favorite place to eat in Tartu

As a loyal customer to Joyce, I can honestly say that every visit is full of pure satisfaction and joy. The service is beyond expectations - waiters are aspiring and super friendly! The food is top quality and very delicious and every dish is served like a masterpiece. The signature cocktails are just devine. Highly recommended restaurant!

Excellent evening with best food

I had the best evening on the terrace of Joyce restaurant. Had octopus for main course and panna cotta for dessert, perfect for the warm summer evening with cold bottle of pino grigio. Very very friendly service! Highly recommended.
