Owner description: Every summer Dzintari Concert Hall opens its doors to local and international artists. Built in 1960, the open-air stage is a famous place for concerting. In 1960 a summer concert hall with 2000 seats was built. The design of metal construction together with the wooden cladding provides perfect acoustics. Professionals have evaluated this place as a unique and in the matters of acoustics as one of the best in the entire Europe.

This place is great, we went for kvn. Despite wooden chairs and bit of wind (there's no walls), we've been satisfied.

looks quite old fashioned, the seats are aging, sound quality is still good, but this is not the venue where I'd like to play

If you like music and visit Jurmala resort nearby Riga, use your chance to visit one of performances in Dzintari Concert Hall. This is an open stage about 200 m from the Baltic sea coast, so that during the concert you can hear it. In the past this hall was widely used for concerts of classical music presented by symphony orchestra, nowdays it is more often used for pops, e.g. annual festival in the first week of August.
