Jomas iela it's the main touristic street of Jurmala..it's next to Jurmala beach, and full of restaurants, bar, shops, and all the needs of a tourist. The street in the neighbor are more interesting for people searching beautiful view and taste of history..to visit!

“I walk here in my daydreams”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2014

While Latvia was a hostage of the Soviet Union, Jūrmala was a favorite holiday-resort and tourist destination for high-level Communist Party officials, and sadly you can still hear those influences here. BUT I loved being here, it was a place. street/area I'd walk once or even twice a day, I just loved the get out and go...always something new and good to see....along Jomas Street for the best way to get acquainted with the rhythm/rhyme of the city...and the food,,,and Beir,,,,,,,now I'm hungry!!!

“Central street in Jurmala, Latvia”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2013

Jomas is the central pedestrian street in Jurmala, resort city near
Riga. It connects two small villages-Dzintari and Maiori. This is
common meeting point to find friends, with tens of cafes, restaurants, hotels, and attractions.

The Jomas pedestrian street is really beautiful and has many nice restaurants and shops. You can buy drinks and food to take to the beach as well as towels, beach toys, souvenirs etc.

“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2013

This pedestrian area is perfect! Many different type of restaurants to eat and drink, many quality shops and also activities for the kids. The quality of the food, drink and service is very high and we didn't have a single bad experience there. Go there!
