We visited Alus Krodzins with a group during lunch-time on a Saturday. The meal which was supposed to be a pleasant break turned out to be not so nice. The café did not focus on serving the 22 guests in the group, instead they carried on taking orders from customers dropping in.
The food as such was OK but the service was almost worse than during old (Soviet) times.
One and a half hour was not enough for the restaurant to be able to hand out a main course, a dessert and a coffee.
