“A great value in a modern hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2013

This hotel is very affordably priced and comes with clean rooms and a friendly staff. The breakfast spread is very nice considering the room prices. Note that it is popular with European bus tours, which means that peak time (7:30 to 8:30 in the morning) is a difficult time to get a breakfast and to navigate the narrow aisles of the breakfast buffet. It is only a few short blocks to the old town. This hotel is the best value for money of our trip so far.

Room Tip: The street is not a major boulevard but there is a fair amount of traffic. Just to be on the safe s...

First time in Riga. There are 2 Radisson's quite close to one another. The Radisson blu is the most recent with as expected very decent rooms with all amenities as expected. Free wifi, good room, modern, excellent mattress, very nice design, bathroom with all amenities as it should. It also has a very nice atrium in which most of the rooms look out into. A nice touch.
I didn't use the restaurants or bars, so I can't give my opinion about it, but it all looked scandinavian quality.
I did visit the top floor club and lounge of the other Radisson hotel, and I must say that this place has a breath taking view over the city. Really worth to go there and enjoy the view.

Great breakfast and nice rooms

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Old Town. The room was spacious with a minibar, wardrobe, drawers, luggage rack, desk, chair and arm chair. The bed was comfy and two pillows were provided. Bathroom was a decent size with a shower/bath and a heated towel rack. Wifi was fast and a strong signal all over the room. The only negative thing I could say about the room was that the walls were very thin. We could hear every footstep, chair movement and suitcase roll from the rooms next door.

The breakfast was excellent. A lot of variety - cereal, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, cold meats, vegetables, eggs, bacon, bread e.t.c. The room can become very crowded so come early or after 9.

A great, modern, comfy hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in the hotel, which is good located and nice. The rooms were conmortable and good size with everything you need. Breakfast fresh and plentiful, service good. We had a look at the other Radisson property, which is much older, very crowded and not inspiring at all. Will stay again in Elizebete hotel any time.

The walls in the rooms are paper thin and you will be up all night with slamming doors and a noisy guest crowd. The mattresses are 3" thick and barely enough wide for one person to stay in one position all night, they provide the maximum of discomfort. The rooms do not smell fresh, the floors in the rooms are filthy and scratched up from prior use. The furnishings in the rooms are new but of poor quality. The breakfast buffet that is included with the room is all of poor quality and substandard cheap filler food, an embarrassment for a supposedly well managed chain. The facility is no more then a 2.5 star our of 5 star hotel establishment. The place fills for the price per night of the room and slick advertising. The availability of rooms in Riga is limited during summer months with events ongoing. This facility draws in the dreck from northern Europe for weekend stays. The business crowd is low class and most the guests as well with struggling financial families that clutter the small lobby. The service for luggage and tourist assistance is non-existent. The desk barely speaks English and misled me into going on a 30 minute cab ride to the otherside of the city for an adapter that could have been purchased 2 blocks away. Walk around the lobby and you will see that this is an overall budget type hotel that survives on slick marketing to the masses and overall there is nothing this hotel has to offer for the consumer. I would have gladly taken another hotel and paid twice the price but again a pathetic selection of good quality hotels in Riga that are available in the high season. I would never suggest this place to anyone unless you want to be up all night and enjoy noise.

This is a gleaming tower a few blocks walk from Riga's old town. The rooms are modern and spacious, and the entire hotel interior emits a glow of cleanliness and efficiency. My room had an enormous bed that was extremely comfortable. Breakfast offered a nice spread --- both quantity and quality were fine. The buffet itself is in a small space and gets a bit chaotic at times, but there is plenty of space to sit, including outdoor tables in a central open-air atrium. There is a small bar/lounge area on the ground floor, but I did not try it. There are the usual business-hotel conveniences: a small fitness room, a kiosk for printing boarding passes.

Although they didn't really have a concierge, staff were friendly and offered basic suggestions on travel.
