This hotel is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is very good, close enough to the old town but outside the congestion charging zone. They have parking for a couple of cars in the courtyard which, although it is not guarded, is out of sight and probably safe enough if you don't have anything fancy.
The room was OK with a warm, spacious and spotlessly clean bathroom. WiFi worked very well and there were enough power sockets for laptop, phone, etc. There's a minibar you can stock with some good local beer as there are supermarkets within walking distance.
On the not-so-good side: the bed itself was rather basic and not so comfortable. It even felt a little bit damp. And in the room I had the ventilation was noisy and could not be switched off. I had to tape it closed which meant I had to open the window for ventilation. Unfortunately it was raining so the sound of rain falling on metallic roofs and gutters was as bad as the ventilation noise. All in all I slept poorly the two nights I was there.
