The interior's nice, though the location takes something away from it. After going up numerous flights of stairs to reach the bar, located on the seventh floor of a shiny new shopping mall, you're not really in the mood for a cosy Irish bar. On a positive note, it is one of the best places to smoke inside in Riga, if that's your thing, with a well conditioned separate smoking room. Food is a bit overpriced compared to similar places in Riga, but is of a reasonable enough quality. There are two negatives with the place, the first is a bit of a lack of atmosphere. We went Friday night and there were only ever 20-25 people there, there is a plus side to that as it doesn't have the loud stag parties which spoil the weekends in equivalent places. The biggest problem is the poor service. Despite the lack of customers we sat at the bar for over 5 minutes without being acknowledged even though we were the only customers at the bar. Finally we had to wave to get the barman's attention and then wait longer to be served. After we moved to a table and finished our drinks we waited for the 2 waitresses to come but despite seeing us, they worked away clearing two tables instead. Pretty poor and frustrating and so we left and went elsewhere.
