Enjoyed the indian fish masalla but the ambience and setting detracted as restaurant is cramped, stools are uncomfortable and it was very stuffy. Good value yummy food, but will not be returning as overal experience was not great.

Food lovers, no matter where you come from or where you've been will simply adore this cosy little gem of a restaurant/bistro/takeaway. A simple, but truly eclectic menu of 3 soups, 3 mains and a selection of salads, all made on the day using only fresh ingredients by the talented foodie couple, Linda and Richard, and their team of dedicated trainee chilliheads. The food is heavily influenced by their love of spice, Indian, Thai, and Sri Lankan dishes sit happily next to Hungarian, Serbian or even Georgian dishes, and even with such a small menu you feel spoiled for choice. In which case I suggest you do as I did and order a half portion of everything! Delicious! A word of warning though, you might have to queue to get served and then elbow your way onto a table, and if the owner offers you a glass of Chartreuse, politely decline, because one always leads to 2, then 3 and on...... then the days gone :o)

Our hotel's breakfast left a lot to be desired, so we went here one late morning and didn't regret for a second. New menu everyday, but at least five meals to chose from. Be sure to try the hummus with tabbouleh!

Good prices but the food was just ok. i had the chilli soup that was very spicy/hot like it should be. my wife had the indian butter chicken that was the opposite from the Cilli soup. My wife dont like spicy/hot food but this one was to mild even for her. the chicken was firm, like its been cooked for to long. worth going back? If I happened to be in the area I might do that but there are so many restaurants to choose from.

Stock Pot is a favorite among locals during lunchtime as well as tourists looking for a flavorful meal on a budget. The menu changes every day and features 6-8 dishes, influenced by Asian, Moroccan, Spanish and Indian cuisines. The great thing about this place is it features vegan, vegetarian and lactose free meals every day (look for VG, V and LF symbols on the menu). Stock Pot foods are often spicy so each dish has a rating 1-10 on how hot it is - take that into consideration when ordering.

A big bowl of soup is 3 Euros and main dishes are around 5 Euros but one can easily eat the half portions offered. For some fresh greens ask for a side salad (80 Euro cents for half portion - enough to top off a main dish). Also, their coconut smoothies are absolutely delicious.

The only downside is air conditioning - after spending some time in the restaurant you leave smelling just like your lunch.

Good to know: It’s open only on weekdays from 11:00-20:30.
