A beautiful city, perfect for a long weekend away for adults. Pew went on a cycle tour which was excellent but also a walking tour by another company which was a little disappointing.

“This is why you come to Riga”
Reviewed 23 July 2014 via mobile

Typical old style city. Very beautiful. Had numerous places to eat and drink and shop at. There are a lot of corner stores and shops that sell everything. This is why you come to Riga. Check out RIMI if you want to go grocery shopping at a big super market.

“Use good shoes”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

A fascinating city centre. Buildings from different eras, with completely different architectural styles. Walk slowly and look at the details on the fine houses. We criss-crossed for several hours and occasionally got back to places we had seen before. But that is part of the experience. And if you get tired, hungry, thirsty or need to go to the loo, you'll always find a place near by.

“Great athmosphere”

Riga Old Town is the best old town area in the Baltic countries. Lots of nice restaurants and terraces and great atmosphere. Easy to recommend.

“Old City”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Had 2 nice evenings wandering round the old city area. Plenty to see and a nice buzz around the area. I will go back as i didn't see everything.
