Definitely one of the best places in Riga.
Food was really delicious: as a starter I had blanched asparagus with cherry tomatoes, quail egg and Brie cheese sauce and as a main course - snails and mussels in white wine- butter sauce with parmesan bruschettas and olive. Everything was more than delicoius. Should note that the prices are not low, but but the quality, pleasant atmosphere, beautiful location and friendly, professional service worth it 100%.

It is in a wonderful location, right next to the port and the yacht club, so on a beautiful day just sit outside in the sun and have a drink. It is just a bit away from the noisy city centre in and artistic environment, which really might seem a bit hipster outside, but the design in the restaurant is quite nice.

The wines there are not so bad, although as most places in Riga, the waiters rarely know what wine they are serving, so no point in asking too many questions about what wine to choose best.
As for food.. Last time I was there, the oysters were absolutely great and very fresh, i enjoyed them very much, but they were exaggeratedly expensive, but if you want to splurge, go on! They were really good. They usually have about four different types in the menu to choose to your liking.
As for the rest of the menu, I must say that the food is not bad, but it is not the best. There is always something a bit missing and the cooking technique is not 100% perfect. And it doesn't necessarily have to be fancy to be good.

So, my advice is - go there on a nice sunny day to enjoy the view with a nice glass of bubblies, but don't get your hopes up too much for the food. It is not bad at all, but for a food lover as my self, it is not great.

We loved this place. Super hip and fabulous, and everything was delicious. The oyster sommelier was just a step under being over-the-top, but managed to toe a fine line and convinced the table to start with some terrific oysters. My duck main dish was outstanding. Service was perfect. It's not cheap, but was totally worth it.

Went for a dinner here the other day, loved it as soon as I saw it from a far. Looks really cool, different from other places. It's trendy, so better book in advance. Loved the vibe, the space and service so much that wouldn't even notice if the food wasn't that great. It was quite good and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend...would love to go there in summer if I am in Riga for the beautiful views of marina.

I have been to the relatively new restaurant Koya last weekend. It is located on Andrejsala, very close to the Wine & Spirit outlet. Parking is relatively easy there. The restaurant consists of a long bar and a few tables inside and then a spacious outddor terasse with a magnificient view over the harbour of Riga.
You can see the menu on their webpage. Small but decent selection for food and drinks incl. wines. Lots of posh people frequently visit this place and you probably won't find a location in Riga with more beautiful people than in Koya.
