It seems so that this place is specialized on seafood. They have all other cuisines available as well but I can recommend oysters and fish. Presentation of food was very nice, taste also very good and atmosphere relaxing. Service speed was not so quick but food was worthwhile to wait. Restaurant is reasonable priced. We had local host who knew where this place is, for foreigner it might be a little bit difficult to find. Nice view to river and harbour, large terrace waterfront.

Location is a bit off from the city center, instead its located close to the ferry port of Riga. In this area a few restaurants have popped up and Koya is by far the best one. The interior is a very interesting mix of the old warehouse building with brick walls and new modern furniture. The fireplaces also adds a lot to the relaxed and cozy atmosphere.

The menus are not long, but instead of quantity they go for quality. All dishes we tried were excellently made. Service was good with an extra plus for an unusually friendly attitude. All in all a very nice experience and we will for sure return here again (and again).

Went for a three course meal with family and friends, and had my first oyster! It was amazing, I haven't seen better food decorations and it tasted like a dream! You can after sit and relax with beer by the river and watch ships go by and of course the sunset!!! Thank you!

You don't find this restaurant, if you don't know about it as it is located in harbor area, which is not really by a normal walking route for a tourist or businessman. It has a lovely seaside terrace with gas heaters, so you can have your dinner even when the autumn evenings are getting colder. Menu is not very long, but as the dishes all sound very good, it makes choosing difficult. I had grilled sardines as starter. I was waiting something, what you get in seaside restaurants in Portugal or Spain, but it was totally different, not in disappointing way. Main course duck was a bit dry, but very good sauce and nice veggies made a juicy combination with great taste. My friend had grilled tuna, which was prepared to perfection. All the dishes were really beautiful, they were lot of flowers and different colors. Great place! Will definitely go back.

The place is near the river and has tables outside with river view; beautiful atmosphere outside in the evening on summer, nice people, great food and service, music too loud in the internal area of the restaurant (live dj set, but was only 7pm). Prices are high for Riga, we have spent 90 eur for 2 meat dishes, one salad, one appetizer and 2 bottles of water (no wine).
