Very small hotel in a really good location. Good service from the young employees. Nice breakfast and really lovely, unique rooms. If you have problems climbing the stairs, this is not your place. There is no elevator.

Stayed this hotel in June2017 and it was a delight. The rooms were not that large but the bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were fine, very clean and comfortable. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. We would certainly stay there again

Nice and cozy old hotell with friendly stuff. The only thing was the smells smooking outside even I hade the room on the top. But the stuff was really carefully and moved the smokers to other place. After that was good. Little bit sad that was broken pulldown on the window, but dosent bother me becouse I was so tired everytime after all long day walking and the window was on the roof so nobody could see in to my room anyway :). The breakfurst was really nice. I will definility come back.

Room Tip: Prepare that are no elevator. But was really easy to go up for the stairs.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for three nights between Christmas & New Year. We had an excellent time - Riga is a beautiful city and the hotel was a wonderful place to stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, they speak excellent English and will provide advice on where to go / how to get out and about on public transport if required.

Our room was fine for what we needed, it was spacious, clean, basic and the beds were comfortable. The room could get a little hot at times however the windows did open so the temperature was sorted quickly when needed.

There was a nice selection of hot and cold food for breakfast which we thought suited many tastes - there was a lot of variety for the nationalities the hotel provides for. It did help keep the hunger at bay when exploring the amazing city.

The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic - one of the highlights of staying at the hotel. It is right in the middle of the Old Town so a wide variety of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and key visitor attractions can be accessed within a short walk. The huge amazing market and the main train station were only a 10 / 15 minute walk away too so a visit to the seaside resort of Jurmala was easy and very cheap. The bus stops to and from the airport are just around the corner too.

A second main highlight was the fantastic Italian restaurant (Sal and Pepe) that was available in the evening (in the same area as the hotel breakfast area). The staff and chefs were very friendly and the food was absolutely beautiful - really tasty, high quality and at a super price. We recommend!

Riga is a very beautiful and special city, we enjoyed our stay a lot. We will return to experience all the sightseeing we didn't get chance to do in the future and will look to stay at the hotel once again.

The hotel is situated in the very center of Rīga pretty close to all major place of interest in the old town. Rooms are simple and clean, breakfast is quite adequate, no complaints. Reception personnel could be friendlier.
