The location of the hostel was very central and meant we were in walking distance to everything, However I'm not sure if the street was the best as there always seemed to be drunk / dodgy men hanging around outside - not great for 2 young girl travellers. However there was a MacDonalds at the bottom of the building so there was always plenty of people around. The hostel room was very basic but functional especially considering the price we paid.
When we first arrived, my friend sat on the bed and one of the wooden slats broke. Thestaff member moved us to a bigger room for the night and then bed was repaired by the next day - so the situation was handled very well. There were other nice things about the hostel such as free earplugs and a basket where you could take things that people has left behind (eg shower gel or books) which were nice ideas. The hostel staff were very helpful in arranging tours for us (highly recommend the AK47 bang bang tour for something a bit novel to do!)
