First of all - location of the hotel is exellent, very heart of old Riga. Big plus - parking lot (not free, but in any case you can travel with your car).
Rooms are narrow and dark, WiFi promised but you can`t use it - extremely slow.
Staff is cheerful and ready to help you if any question, Breakfast very good and big choice of food.
Well - for relax is good - drop your luggage and go to old city.
Be informed.

Rooms were comfortable without being luxurious. Very good and varied breakfast and also a good evening meal. Friendly and obliging staff and the Hotel is in an excellent central location. The only down side was that there seemed to be a problem in getting the central heating working satisfactorily

Travelling Europe on business I found myself staying at the Europa Royal Hotel in Riga. What a lovely hotel with excellent staff. I had used their airport transfer service and was met by the statuary Mercedes and the transfer was no problem. Reception process excellent, room amazing and as usual in Europe free internet access throughout the hotel.

Making my way to the bar the staff were helpful and the food very good. Great nights sleep on a very comfortable followed by a very good breakfast.

I stayed two nights and will not hesitate in returning well done guys and excellent job.

Walking in to a stunning hotel we thought we were in for a pleasant stay.

We were travelling with another couple so had 2 rooms booked as part of an independent tour, the other couple were given a true double room however we given a triple room with 2 single beds pushed together and a rollaway! We went down to complain and got told that the hotel was fully booked that night and that the next morning we would be upgraded to a deluxe room with a double mattress however when going down in the morning a different person said we would just put a double mattress in your current room and no upgrade.

The bathroom in our room had a bath falling apart and for some reason the curtain is pretty much on the toilet.

Breakfast according the tripadvisor reviews was great but we couldn't even get a table of 4 and food was average with not much choice. There wasn't even toast as an option or cold milk (only hot) for your hot drinks or cereal.

The good thing is it is in a good location and the hotel itself is beautifully decorated.

Stayed 3 nights as part of a tour group through the Baltics.

Location was good, not far from the old town. My room was quiet and comfortable and had enough size for one person, but would be tighter (but still ok) for two people.

Bathroom was nice and a good size, however the problem was the hot water, the temperature fluctated sometimes getting quite cool. Didnt appear tio matter what time in the morning I would shower, it just couldnt keep up with demand it seems.

I dont carry a Wifi device and rely on the internet computers (business centre as it is often called) and they have a computer near reception, however I realised that often the people using it are staff. I think staff from the small casino situated inside the building. At first I didnt realise so I was waiting nearby thinking it was another customer of the hotel. When I did get to use it in the evenings, I also noticed that the reception desk was often left empty, and even phonecalls might be unanswered. It was not a case of being busy with people, as it was very quiet. I called from my room one night and had it go unanswered and had to call again later.

Lastly the laundry (dry cleaning) charges seemed huge considering that most things in Latvia were not expensive at all. No option for a self-service laundry machine. By this time in my trip I had to have some clothes cleaned so I had to pay the big cost.
