“Suite fantastic with private jacuzzi and sauna”

Everything perfect. Rich buffet for breakfast, located in the old city center, 50 meters from the bus (number 22) stop which goes to airport. Friendly staff, hotel not noisy at all. Very good price. We took suite which has a private sauna and big jacuzzi. Simply fantastic!

I only stayed here for one night while on a trip that took in Tallinn, Helsinki and then Riga (around sept 2011). As i only stayed one night i can only give a general impression. The one thing I remember liking was the character of the hotel. The bar and restaurant are in hollowed out cavernous cellars which made it quite unique. The hotel was clean and boutique like with it's old school decor, far from being dated, this added character and set a nice atmosphere for the area you are in (near the old town). The room i was in had two floors, beds were upstairs, storage space and bathroom downstairs. I liked this as it felt like a home for the night rather than just another hotel room. Ideal for a stop off visit, i'd also recommend it for couples. Ideal location for seeing the major attractions also

we just spend 4 nights here. our room has double layers soundproof windows, our room is very quiet room next to street. the room has air condition. very nice double room with bathtub.
the breakfast is very nice also in a cave ambience.
the reception speak good englush and are very friendly in answering all our questions.
it is very close to train and bus station. and it is right in the heart of old town near to shopping malls and supermarjet.
having a quiet room is important to us.
and our room is super quiet, although it is facing to a small park and street
its listedas a 4 stars hotel, i will say its probably 3 or 3 and half. but it is still
great value for what we paid.

we stayed in the hotel for 2 nights .
The room was very , very small , I've put in my order , that we are travelling with small children, but there were no space even for couple.
Tiny bathroom . very noisy from the street . Air conditional didn't help a lot.
Breakfast was in small room , it was difficult to move.
there are stairs every ware , to the receptions , from the elevator to rooms - very hard to manage with luggage.
I strongly not recommended this Hotel

My wife and I spent three nights in the suite for 280 euros. No complaints there, the price is reasonable. The room is spacious and the brand new bathroom terrific, equipped with jacuzzi and sauna. Unfortunately the bed is not of the same calibre; it's on the small side and the mattress is uncomfortable. Anyway, so far so good.

The big minus, however, is the location of the suite. It's in the ground floor right next to restaurant tables outside. If you don't draw the curtains in front of the big windows, anyone can see right in. (Unless, of course, the windows really are one-way mirrors. I didn't check.)

Let's face it: hotel suites are places where people very often like to get intimate. In this case, there's an additional kinky flavor with the knowledge that less than a meter away, behind the curtain and the not-so-soundproof window, there are people eating their dinner. Some may find this a turn-on, some perhaps not so much.

So the verdict: if you want a lot a space and a top-notch bathroom in a good location for a relatively reasonable price, look no further. Honeymooners, however, might want to consider alternative options.

This hotel is in a very good location for the tourist that wishes to visit the old town. But this also means that taxis cannot reach the hotel fully so you end up dragging the luggage along uneven pavements. To make things worse you then have steps in order to reach reception.
Staff were not very interested in helping and found it easier to just say "no" to any request rather than trying to understand what you were asking them.
The rooms are small but they do have air conditioners. But, it seems they prefer you not to use them as there is no controllers for the units - and instead the chambermaids open the windows. We manage to turn on the unit and closed the windows and this made the room far more comfortable.
The bathroom was very small - mostly taken up with a huge bath. Totally unnecessary to have a bath at all - a walk-in shower would be far more appropriate for a hotel like this which caters mainly for tourists.
Breakfast was poor, cold eggs, poor selection of bread, 1 kind of cheese and ham - and no bacon. The buffet was served in the basement. It was badly laid out with tables close to the food. Also with a narrow passage to get in as well as low ceilings the whole place was very claustrophobic. It was possible to take your food to the terrace, but I am disabled and walk with a stick so I have one spare hand only (and none spare when attempting stairs!!) - so no chance to carry food, cutlery, juice and coffee all that distance. No help was ever offered.
The only good thing really was the price - very good value for a quick stay, so if food and service does not matter, than try this one, otherwise shop around!

The location was excellent. Breakfast was very nice and they had a good variety. We stayed in a room for 3 persons, but it was very warm in the room and it smelled not nice. However it was good price/quality. It was very noisy at night because of the pub nearby. there was no airco
