Yes, the structure is amazing, the endless array of Latvian/Russian fare tasty and cheap (my two cousins and I took five plates each, plus wine or beer, and the bill came to less than $40!), but the real fun came after the meal, downstairs, at the bar: live music -- a Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits cover band that played really well, singing all the songs in Russian, of course. The dancers, many in country-western garb, sang along in Russian -- but also chimed in on the one song we heard in English. The bar selection was disappointingly slim: no Scotch, at all, just an Irish whiskey, vodka and beer, and the food selection was a fraction of the 500 options upstairs, but we had a great time. Many families upstairs as well as working locals -- this is the place to fill up on good food for bargain prices.
