“Very good”
Review of Snow Arena

Snow Arena

It is really ski, but if you have not experience, there is no instructor and beginners part too simple but part for experienced skiers is too complicated for beginners((. But the place itself good!

It was my first visit to the arena, as well as the first skiing experience since early childhood hills.
My friend and I had a great time, and are thankful to all the staff at the counters, gear desk and especially to our instructor Valdas for his patience,, efforts to communicate in English, and skilled guidance teaching us our first steps.
The arena provides a few different slopes for skiers with different level of experience.
There are bars and self service restaurant for having some food or drink while in the arena. The time spent there doesn't count into a time given you by a ticket because you check in and out at the gates to the snow area.

You can access Arena either by a car or by public transport. There is a bus going by but the more comfortable way to getthere (if no own car) is ataxi. It doesn't cost much and you can ask the desk service to call it for you for no extra charge.

It's the perfect place to spend the whole day, even if you're a rookie at skying. You can buy a ticket for several hours and it wll be enough for the whole day, you can exit the skiing track and go eat or relax and your time stops counting. So you can go ski, thengo eat, have wine etc and then go ski some more. The place has everything and the view from the top floors is amazing.

- looked like a great facility but prooved to be lacking direction signs, the information was confusing and we paid way too much for 20 minutes we actually spent on the snow. There was no opportunity to go inside to view what was available before we paid more than 100 Euros for the 5 of us to go in for 1 hour.
- our swipe cards didn't work and we had to wait for the staff to approach us and let us through the gate
- once inside, we lost several minutes trying to figure out where to go and what to do next. No signs or staff available. We ended up paying extra 10 lt for the helmet for each of us - there was no choice really as we couldn't go snowtubing without helmets! (that was on top of the entry fee which we were told included everything!)
- we had to carry our snowtubes and then haul them along and then over the fence - again, no signs or staff available to explain the procedure
- the snowtubing track was too short and going down more than 2 times seemed ridiculous (we paid for an hour or two for that)
- there were no toilets in the reception area and you couldn't go back into the arena once you've exited, very inconvenient
- the skiing track looked fun, to be fair but we had 2 3-year-old girls with us and had no way of exploring that

When I was at snow arena, there were not many people. I really enjoed it for couple hours. However, I think snowboarders would have more fun there. It is also a great place for begginers to learn.
