We went to this zoo on a very cold, snowy day at the end of October.
The zoo doesn't look much when you approach and see the first few animals, but then, as you follow the path round, it opens into a valley with tigers, wolves, deer, wild pigs, bison and more!
A truly well-thought-out and designed zoo, most of which really fits into its environment.
It feels much older and more well established than it is, which is a credit to whoever designed and manages it.
It doesn't have a huge variety of animals, but it does have some surprising hi-lights and it's well worth a visit, though it would benefit from some better signage from the bus-stop!
