To visit Trebon it is always good to do. Considering just the main square, you will find interesting set of baroque and renaissance architecture. If you have some time, go to visit the town hall tower. It offers nice overview of surrounding countryside. As it is rather flat here, when it’s a good day, you can see far far away. When the tower is closed, go to the tourist information centre nearby (number 103, opened daily 9:00-12:00 and 12:45-18:00) and ask for keys from tower. Then you get amazing experience as you will probably have the tower for yourself only.
In summer the square might get crowded by cyclists and their bikes, but the rest of the year it is usually free and easy to stay on. On the January 1st there is usually a New Year firework in the evening, which is nice to watch as it is prepared show with music as well.
And of course there is plenty of restaurants, cafes, the chateau and a grocery store right on the spot ;-)
