We had heard of this restaurant and so on a Friday night (having just arrived in Skagen) we walked in and asked if they had a table. To our surprise they did and seated us right away. We decided to the 4 course tasting menu, food paired with a wine. Oh my, absolutely wonderful. Each course was explained to us in English (as the menu was in Danish), I ate things I would not normally eat, such as smoked fish, and moss. The wines fit perfectly with the food choices and were heavy pours (do not suggest driving after a night here). Food was near perfection, Just can't say enough about preparation and presentation. Down side, was the price. But for one meal on a holiday it was so worth it. In our 12 days in Denmark and Sweden, this was our most expensive meal but one we will continue to talk about for a long time. The staff was very good also. Gave us time to enjoy and yet watched and took care of us.
