“The other reason to go to Skagen”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Yes, it is the other reason (the first being the Skagen Museum). We went to Grenen in June and it was amazing to see the two sees meeting in this strange and original way. I guess it is more impressive when the weather is a bit stronger. It is not only the seas, but the whole combned aura of the sea, the sand and the sky with very original colors. We biked from Skagen to Grenen with my wife and son, and it was a very nice experience to cycle for about 4 kms and added to the positive experience. I also suggest that you take the Sandormen from the carpark (especially if you have young kids)

“Very cool walk and sightseeing”
Reviewed 4 June 2014 via mobile

We hiked along the beach from the train station, walked to the tip and stood in the water. Relaxed with a ice cream after and walked back on the road. Really cool. There is a bus thing you can take, but I'd only do that if there is a problem that prevents you from walking. It looked v touristy and crowded.

“Very nice, worth seeing!”

Visited for sunrise and later in day with family, very nice place- guessing only as long as the weather is good! The kids loved it.

“Amazing site”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

Living in Australia we have some amazing beaches and weather to match. To see two seas (Baltic Sea and the North Sea) meet was special particularly when we visited in spring and it was so freezing cold. New concept to visit the beach. Having said that we did enjoy the walk along the beach and then visiting the WWII bunkers.. Some thing we do not see often. Th view from them is amazing. The ships out to sea are incredible. There is an information centre there that is very good to help you understand this amazing spectacle. Summer would of course paint a different picture.

Denmark has some amazing beaches and this area is by far the most beautiful. You have this great body of sand that juts out into the ocean and at the tip the two seas meet. From the WW2 bunkers you get a great view of the whole area and it is just so beautiful.
