Location: Fantastic location right in centre of village, (parking was on street public pay for parking, but you have to be lucky to get one these, so you may end up parking down a side street with a bit of a walk).
Room: Quite possibly the most depressing room I have stayed in anywhere, lacked character, was so cold I contemplated putting the bath towels around me just so I could get to sleep, because despite the small radiator being on there was virtually no heat coming from it ( no spare blankets in wardrobe). It reminded me of a bare isolation hospital room with a cave like echo. Outdated TV in an awkward position, had several head bang on it, adverted as WI-FI but no signal in my room. The room was clean, but this is not surprising as there was virtually nothing to clean it was so bare. The ensuite was a good size and was the only positive that I can say about the entire experience
Breakfast: typical continental breakfast, however we were most put off by a strange dirty smell, and another guest’s dog being fed by the owners from their plate. In addition to top of our horrible experience we served a boiled egg, that was raw ( I like a running egg, but when the egg white is still clear—that’s just fowl)
Overall: if you are absolutely stuck for accommodation, save your €80 as sleeping in your car is probably better, as you will be just as warm/comfortable.
