“Relax and enjoy the view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2013

A clean and well maintained, family-run hotel, close to Monemvasia. Rooms are not very large. However, they are comfortable and have nice view to the sea and to Monemvasia. All members of the staff are very friendly and can advise you on what to do in the area. Minor issues are the lack of a shower curtain, the lack of any chair or other furniture to lay your things in the room and the air-conditioning being directed right to the bed (at least in room no.8). We would also like to try the breakfast for which we had read so many good words but when we visited the hotel (July 2013) it was not provided due to some internal/management reasons.
The hotel is built just in front of the sea but the beach there is not nice to swim. Hopefully, the big pool will fulfill your swimming needs. Keep in mind that the hotel is approximately 4km away from the town of Monemvasia and there are no shops or restaurants close by, therefore, it is certainly inconvenient for people with no transportation means. Still, it is very good for those preferring to stay away from the traffic and noise of Monemvasia.

Clean and cheap room. Nice pool with ocean view (duh), pool has salt (!?) water.
We stayed here 1 night and just walked in. Friendly staff, but very limited in their English.

Note that the hotel is quite far from the actual town of monemvasia (we had a rental car, but I wouldnt recommend walking to the Castro).

Oh, and our bathroom had a good shower and water pressure, but no curtain! So we had to save the toiletpaper roll to prevent it becoming a paper-machee as everything gets wet while showering.

We stayed two nights with Katerina at this lovely hotel. We booked a studio and it was delightful with a balcony looking over the large immaculate pool and the sea just metres away over the rocks. Asking the $64 question: is there a laundry or Laundromat nearby, Katerina grabbed all our washing and next evening it was in the room, ironed and folded - and we have to force her to take money for it! Our only niggle was the bed was a little hard for our senior bones but we coped. Yes, it's 5 kms out of the crowded noisy town - but if you've got a car, go there, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: Book a studio on top floor, only 2 flights up. There is no lift.

We spent 4 days there. The location is amazing, the view to Monemvasia was a real treat when waking up in the moring and the whole area is worth exploring. As for the owner they were always quick to help, gave us some inside tips and honestly made us feel very comfortable. The rooms were very clean well decorated. The price compared to other hotels is value for money. Well recommended for all those looking to spend their holidays at the area.

It is a strongly recommended place for those looking for an affordable housing of very nice quality. The place out-stands the others possessions analysed before the arrival. Adorable breakfasts, the view is better than on the pictures, a small kitchen in our room was a perfect alternative to the restaurants in the nearest city. You definitely need a car to get there, so that the option is only for clients of car rentals. We didn't pay any attention on the size of rooms, which might be small for some visitors. The beach close to the place is a no-no for swimming in comparison to the other located >3 km from the place. I give 10 out of 10 for the overall style of the building and the family managing it. Most of people with average expectations will find the place to be incredible for a couple of days. Worth each penny at the moment.

Room Tip: I am sure too much depends on the room. Try to see it inside before moving in.

Spent 2 nights at hotel and would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were also extremely friendly. Breakfast was served outside under a parasol and the orange juice and some other produce was direct from the owners farm. Everything in the room was spotless. I agree with everything 'frankdelaet' has said.

We just spent one night in hotel Seafront as part of a visit to Monemvasia and we can only recommend it. At these prices, it is simply the best value you can find. The rooms are not very large, but they have airconditioning, a real fridge with freezer (not the minibar sort), and a balcony with a table and seats. The pool has salt seawater, which we found to be a nice touch, as you can see the sea when you're in the pool (there is even direct access to the - albeit rocky - beach). Breakast included eggs and orange juice which came straight from the farm. The only thing to keep in mind is the fact that the hotel is 3 km. away from Monemvasia, so a car can be handy.
And last but not least, the people were very friendly and catered to our every need.
In short, whenever we need to be in the region, we will most certainly be back.
We want to thank the owners for a short but very pleasant stay. Ευχαριστώ πολύ.
p.s.: you can beleave everything on their website (even the free wifi).
