“So relaxed”
Reviewed 30 July 2014

Everything is relaxed and easy going on Tavira Island: from the boat trip to get there to the bars on the island. Nice sandy beaches, never too crowded.

“Peaceful & beautiful”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Much like the nearby Terra Estreita and Barril Beaches, Tavira Island is among the best beaches in the Algarve. The water is pleasant and clean, and the sand is absolutely white. There is a camping site close-by, and you can go for long walks on the sand, as the beaches stretch for many kilometers.

If you are in Tavira or nearby, and enjoy going to the beach, then make sure you don't miss Tavira Island!

“Tavira = Beautiful”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

Bus/train service times arent great.
But there sites were stunning!! I recommend the castle and a stroll along the river.
There is also a small site seeing train which goes around the town.

“A nice place to relax and sun bake”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

A nice place to do nothing!! If all you want to do is a cheap day of sun worshiping while some tunes play distantly in the background then you´ve found the right place. A fun and quick little ferry ride and you are there. A couple of bars and little market stall then just beach for days!

“Segs in the City Segway tours along the ocean Vila Nova de Cacela Portugal”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Located at Quinta da Ria golf course my family had a blast touring through the golf course with ocean views and a stop for a drink near the beach on Segways. Our guide Paulo was fantastic and we absolutely loved it.
