Stopped by on a long walk through the amazing valley, our last day of an 8 day stay the valley. Atmosphere was young and alive, though alive with smartphones and internet. Definitely the location to grab a coffee or hot chocolate and connect with the world.
My flat white was pretty weak - single shot in a standard cup, rather than the normal double shot in most places. At around $5 US that is a pretty expensive flat white :) It was also lukewarm, though served right when prepared - the cup/mug was not preheated. Had to drink it fast! It looked really good though!
Decor was very nice, with warm tones and comfortable seats and couches encouraging lounging around. Wi-fi was pretty slow, so slow that the streaming music kept cutting out, though the staff didn't seem to notice that was happening.
Compared to other places in town, this is the only place to go for a decent coffee and cafe experience. The other coffee I had in town was pre ground, untamped, even more expensive and a total disaster! Go to Airtime for the best brew in Lauterbrunnen!
